I am a mom of 3 and have always been active and athletic but after gaining 60+ lbs with each of my kids I kind of let myself go after the first born not to mention many miscarriages and not losing the weight from those I was getting big! 5'7" and 180 I finally decided I had to do something about it so I started tracking my calories and bought a membership to the local gym and in a few months I was down to 150 and a size 7/8 which was fine with me of course I wouldn't mind being a size 5 lol who wouldn't! So a couople years of that and I became pregnant with my 2nd and I worked out until 2 weeks before birth and I mean high impact workouts, I'm very competetive so when I do something I go at it full force!
Well I lost most of the weight all but 10lbs then surprise surprise........... pregnant again!! I was still breastfeeding and my little one was only 11 months. I didn't know I was pregnant until 9 week because I was spotting and thought it was my period! Well since my menstrual cycle had been short and "different" and only came after sex I decided to take a test which confirmed it. So I went to the dr still spotting off and on, I thought I was going to miscarry. She had told me to take it easy and no working out :( I did not miscarry which was a shock to me because after 7 of them it's somewhat expected.
I gained 70 lbs this pregnancy and Jan 18th 2011 popped out an 8lb 13 oz baby boy. Oh and my husband went and had a vsectomy on our way home from the hospital. Fast forward to may 2012, I am a very busy photographer and have not had or made time to get back to the gym. I had a session with a high profile client and wanted to get a new outfit, so before the session I went shopping and ended up buying a sized 12 which was one size up( I should be losing weight not gaining). That was it, enough was enough. I went back to the gym and started counting calories again. I started at 198 and by october i was down to 157 and as a surprise my husband set up a consult for a mommy makeover because I have been working my butt off and he wanted to reward me :) Well since my consult I have gained a few pounds due to some steroids I had to take for my lungs and it's frustrating but I will get back down soon I'm sure. Surgery is in 3 weeks and I keep having nightmares lol, I know it's just me being anxious.... I found a dr that is highly recommended so I shouldn't worry so much

Congrats on having three beautiful babies! It sounds like you've put a ton of work into your body and that your husband is really supportive. I'm looking forward to following along on your journey. When is your pre-op appointment?
