SMART Liposuction of Abdomen and Flanks

On July 16, 2018, I had a consultation with Dr. Aydin and his Patient Coordinator, Cinzia, regarding potential liposuction of the abdomen and the flanks. I do note that at the time of consultation, I was in physical shape and worked out at least 5 times a week. ( I still am in physical shape, now better than before). However, despite all the workouts and the dieting, my abdomen and flanks maintained a high degree of stubborn fat. Nevertheless, the consultation was not only great but was extremely informative. Dr. Aydin was very thorough in his explanation of the procedure and answered all of my questions and concerns. He is, in addition to being extremely knowledgeable and qualified in his craft, very honest, caring, passionate, and empathetic about his patients. I had visited several plastic surgeons in New York prior to my visit with Dr. Aydin and was set to go with a New York plastic surgeon. However, my consultation with Dr. Aydin changed everything. If it was not for Cinzia, I may have decided to go with the New York surgeon. If anyone is looking for an extremely qualified plastic surgeon who takes the time to treat his patients as family, I would highly recommend Dr. Aydin without any reservations.
On July 31, 2018, I had SMART liposuction conducted on my abdomen and flanks. The procedure was perfectly fine. I was subjected to local anesthesia (thus being awake) and did not felt any discomfort or pain during the entire procedure. Side note, the place was spotless - very clean and spacious.
I also want to take the time to talk about Dr. Aydin's staff. First and foremost, Cinzia is freaking awesome!! What an incredible patient coordinator Dr. Aydin has selected. As with Dr. Aydin, Cinzia is also extremely knowledgeable and thorough in her explanation of everything - pre-operation, during operation, and post-operation. In addition to being completely honest, she will always look out for your best interest specifically with regards to the procedure you are seeking. She is very interpersonal, charismatic, and has a great sense of humor. Dr. Aydin's nurse, Nicole, is also great and very nice too. She was very helpful throughout the whole process. Dr. Aydin's entire staff are great. They all are truly reflective of the type of person Dr. Aydin is.
In sum, if anyone is looking for a highly qualified plastic surgeon, again I would recommend Dr. Aydin without hesitation. WHY because (1) he is double board certified and (2) he is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons - FACS. These surgeons, unlike regular surgeons, go through rigorous training and evaluation, and have been found to be consistent with the high standards established and demanded by the College. This is your body so I would assume you want a surgeon who has gone through the most rigorous standards to be qualified as a plastic surgeon. As such, this and including everything I said before, is why I would highly recommend Dr. Aydin.
