Pain medication

I did not mention that after the surgery I was given a prescription for pain. I did not need any of the prescribed pain medication and over the 3-4 days post surgery I only needed Tylenol on 4 occasions. Minimal discomfort.

Dr. Ferraro was very clear and informative about the procedure, recovery and results. The only difference between his estimation of return to exercise differed in my case. I found that I needed approximately 3-4 months to return to a normal workout routine. I found the results of the procedure to be ver good. My time out of work (office) was about 1 week and I did not do any out of office meetings for about 3 weeks. The way you shave changes dramatically due to the reposition of the beard. That will be permanent. One year after the surgery I am happy with the results and if I had the choice of going back pre-surgery or post surgery I would absolutely do the surgery. Dr. Ferraro is the surgeon I would have no hesitation in recommending for the surgery. A true gentleman and an outstanding, caring Doctor. F. Shea
