WORTH IT$6,000
After the birth of my second son I knew I wanted to get work done. He was an emergency c-section, but I was advised that I was a candidate for a tummy tuck. So for 13 years I waited in hopes of having 1 more child before I had my procedure done. The baby never came, but treating myself to liposuction was my best decision!

2 weeks post procedure upper & lower abs
This is me 2 weeks after the 1st procedure. Here only my upper and lower abs were done. I am still bruised and just started a skin firming cream. I wear my waist trainer all day, only take it off to shower and left my skiname breath. I am waiting on my new compression garment since I lost a lot of weight.

Why did you decide not to go with the tt? It's not for everyone, I just always wonder because sometimes I see that they don't want to do anything that invasive and are scare of the pain, so they'd just rather do lipo. I thought the same thing and then at the last minute went ahead and did the tt. Little did I know, the lipo caused and still causes more pain and swelling that the tt did. The tt (other than the back ache at first) was actually the easy part. Lol

That makes sense. I pray that you have a swift and smooth recovery. Remember to take things slow, even if you feel fine. I'm six months po and my lipo swelling is still a beast.

Really?....good to know. The other day I took my compression garment off for the day because bit needed washing, and my skin started hurting. I had to find something to put on till laundry was done

Yes. I don't know when it will ever end. Lol. So even though my waist is smaller, I'm still not comfortable wearing any of my jeans or anything with a button waist. It may be fine in the morning, but as the day goes on, it starts to get tight and hurt really bad. My doctor lipos the top of the abs. On one hand I'm glad he does this because I've seen a lot of tt women complain over time that their belly is flat at the bottom, but they start to gain fat at the top. But on the other hand, I'm having to deal with the swelling from the lipo now. It's getting better, but it's definitely a process. I definitely feel better with compression. Even now.

Yes. My incision never did really hurt. If you have to get muscle repair, your back will hurt while standing up and walking for a few weeks. Also if you get muscle repair, it will hurt to cough, sneeze, etc for a while. That's only if you get muscle repair. If not, I don't think there's really anything that causes pain after surgery. You may feel a little bit of stinging or burning at the incision area, but nothing that would cause you to need pain meds. The lipo on the other hand hurts to touch, it's hard to get comfortable when sleeping, and it causes a lot of swelling. I'm sure some of my swelling is from the muscle repair, but the majority of my swelling is in the areas that I got lipo. I'll have to look in my post op report to see what kind of lipo I got. I always forget. The walking hunch back is the hardest thing about a tt with muscle repair during recovery. But I also think it depends on how aggressive your doctor is. Some people do okay with a couple of days or weeks. My doctor is very aggressive and he said he pulled me pretty tight, so it took me about three weeks to be able to force myself to walk completely upright and probably about 5 weeks for me to do it without thinking about it.

What kind of skin tightening cream are you using?

No, I was curious because I'll be needing to start with some soon. I'll definitely check that out. Keep me posted on whether you start to see a difference!
