Having had extra weight around my torso all my life, I did a little research of plastic surgeons in my area for a liposuction I wanted to have done. I came across Dr. Aydin's reviews and website and decided to go in for a consultation.
I was thoroughly impressed with Dr. Aydin's bedside manner. He was attentive, not distracted, and patient to answer any questions or concerns I had. The facility itself is beautiful and comfortable. Also, the nurses and other staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. At no time did I feel pressured to have anything done if I didn't feel comfortable. I was given a couple different options for what I desired to have done, given quotes and full financial work-up by Nancy, and a few days later I made my decision for the lipo and had it scheduled.
The procedure itself went well and without incident, and I was prepared with the medication and garments required for that day. Dr. Aydin and the assisting nurses were attentive the entire time to my comfort and pain level, which was not bad at all. A couple pinches here and there, but about it. I was followed up by phone on multiple occasions after the procedure to check up on how I was doing and any concerns I had were addressed.
I had the usual pain and discomfort as I have read in other reviews which essentially felt like I had been working out my abdominals intensely for a few days, some difficulty with rolling over while sleeping, getting out of bed, into/out of cars, but totally manageable. I only required the prescribed painkillers for a couple days in fact as I don't really like the sensation they cause. Once the bandages were removed, I saw that the swelling and bruising was not too bad.
It's been just over six months now and I feel I made an excellent decision. I went to Dr. Aydin after a few months for a concern about minor unevenness in a small area around my lower abdomen and had a quick Sculpsure treatment there. The unevenness has subsided. I'm in Fort Lauderdale, FL now and I have to say that going to the beach and pools as often as I am doing now, I am enormously more comfortable taking my shirt off and even receive complements! I will be posting photos soon.
