2.5 months post-op

2.5 months later and everything feels pretty natural at this point. Very minor residual numbness on the right side of my lip. Wondering if it's permanent, but I'll check in at around 6 months to update. Scar still looks crappy but a little bit of makeup improves it quite a lot. The new chin has given me dimples on the sides of my lips.

Implant Scar - Advice

I received a couple messages asking for a pic of my scar, so here it is. Not too great, I know.

I'm about 6 weeks post op. Any advice on how to reduce the visibility of this scar? I've been using Scar Away silicon strips.

Implant Details

Since a few people have asked about the type of implant I got I contacted my doctor's office and they were great with getting back to me soon. Here's what was used on me:

A silicon extended anatomical implant from Spectrum Design, size 4 (large), and it was sutured in place.

Dr. Parker gave me the impression of competence and professionalism. He was a bit aloof. I think the practice is great if you're looking for a team of able and proficient people, but I would have liked to have been reassured by some genuine empathy. Some of the office staff were sometimes disorganized and "catty", gave contradicting information that made me nervous, mis-scheduled me twice, but the doctor, nurses, and anaesthesiologist were all great.
