WORTH IT
Panniculectomy was done on Monday Nov 26th 2018. This is a journey I tell u with much swelling and soreness. As I go through this first week I’m so excited and grateful. I had a 2 day hospital stay with plenty of info and tricks taught. Learning now how to slow down

Still healing and had a lil reaction to the Pre solution from surgery but it’s becoming controllable. Swelling is definitely still in some areas with numbness. Love when I get to chat with Dr Wilson about my concerns because he make sure to address them and not take it as complaining.

Hello Duchess30. I am so glad to run across your post. I am getting a panni done soon in the very near future and it is good to see someone else who has already gone through the process. How are you feeling? You look wonderful by the way!!!!! What supplies did you have to purchase? Thank you

Hi Brindacollins. I also had the Panniecuelomy/Abdomiplasty done on 12/6. I bought a faja, but right now Im wearing a 3 panel binder. During my recovery I bought ADB pads, gauges dressing and loose fleece pants to wear around the house.

No prob luv I hope all works out for your journey. There’s 2 FB pages as well that helped me thru this journey and gave me the questions to ask my surgeon.

Thanks luv... Ask what's the procedure they use for the Panniculectomy. Like will they cut above or below belly button, will they replace the belly button and what kind of binder is provided

Hello luvs it has been an awesome journey. I’m glad I’m sore help to u because I didn’t see many pannieculomy.
Brindacollins im doing well my meds were pretty much behind me at day 4 after surgery it the doctor wanted me to continue to take as needed. Thanks so much I can’t stop admiring how much different it looks in the abdominal area lol and how the showers feel to not left fat all over. I haven’t bought anything because of the swelling I just use the binder that was given to me because the stuff I wanna use is expensive lmbo. Since I had my done my doctor provided me with extra medical things.
It’s better to make sure nothing tight on the abdominal area where the cut will be but if u have compression pants that will be AWESOME. I wore my leggings that go over my stomach under my breast and the feeling was awesome

Thank you so very much. This is all new to me. So I am trying to learn all I can so I am well informed. I feel like I should be doing something to prepare but I am just at the beginning of my journey, waiting insurance approval. I like to have everything in order. I hate last minute details. Yes, I'm a tad bit OCD!!!!! I am so glad all is going well with you. It encourages my heart. Keep posting and I will keep reading your post. Thanks a million!!!!!!
