Belt Panniculectomy - My time with Dr. Wendel and staff before, during and after care was great. I was looking for a local surgeon that I felt comfortable with and after years of my own person research I narrowed down to three/one being Dr Wendel. Out of those 3 I did finally choose and I do not regret my choice. I decided on this surgery as I lost an extensive amount of weight and was left with an apron of a belly that hurt when exercising and often caused skin tears. Every question I had at any time was answered I was reassured time and time again that I would be cared for. Surgery day my nerves were trying to get the best of me but, again when Dr. Wendel came to do my mark ups I felt better. With my after care Dr. Wendel congratulated on the results that not only came from the work he did but me following his instructions to the letter. When I tell you my greatness fear was that I would look botched up and like Frankenstein, to see my scars 5 months post op you just really can not tell.. Dr. Wendel did that :-) I am pleased with the present results and know that more to come as I continue to fully recover. He never set unrealistic expectations and stayed very real with me. If I should decide to have any additional work, I would most definitely reach out to Dr. Wendel again.
