Got my CO2 peel yesterday

So I got my CO2 peel yesterday. I was only suppose to get the "madonna" on my eyes but the Dr. Went ahead and did my whole face at no charge. Super sweet huh. It's let me tell you that I love his Assistant Trish, this woman is so down to earth, real, ay have to love her. She is the biggest blessing to his staff. Ok -- so back to my peel -- they number me for 45-60 minutes, which was good with me. I'm was super nervous because I had no idea what to expect. But it wasn't that bad at all. Matter all the blood red faces I have seen I was expecting super bad. My suppose it's because he didn't go super deep, but I am VERY thankful for that. I know I can go back for another and not be tramatized. Glad I went back. Face is feeling good, you can see the skin wanting to sluff, but it's not quite ready.....

MEGA FAIL - I went in to get the hollow eyes filled with Artifill, after all "it's the only approved eye filler". Lasts for years. Well my artifiller coagulated. It ended up leaving these "knots" under my eyes. You may look at them and say well no big deal, but it is when your looking at yourself. It's like having that permanent pimple in the mirror, you know the only that you see as really huge and you swear everyone is staring at it. dr. Tried to reverse it with the stuff that's suppose to dissolve it, but it did not work. Dr. Has suggested that I come in and try a laser peel for my hollows and then he would like to make this tiny, tiny incision and pull the coagulated material out, I am a bit (more than a bit, like very) nervous, I keep putting the peel off.

I am sorry that you experienced this side effect. Do some research before taking any corrective steps. Does this cause any pain in the face?

kimmers25, there is no pain at all, it's just a little nodule under my eye, very strange, and more under my left eyes than my right. If you place your finger on it you can actually feel it moving as directed.

It is actually very common, I have the same thing, and had to have 4 lumps surgically removed around my mouth and chin, more to be removed in a few weeks. It is the worst filler out there, should not be allowed for the face.

I have the same thing. I am looking forward to seeing how the incision and removal goes for you. Everyone says they don't notice it even when I point it out. But I am absolutely 100% certain I'm not imagining it. The other eye turned out perfectly.

Ars2014 - I go in for my laser today.....very nervous. The funny thing about that nodule that we see and feel. It is on us. It's important to us, that is why we went in the first place was to make 'us' fell better. Did your Dr. have any recommendations on fixing yours? My Dr. is a very nice guy, and he is really trying a bunch to correct my eyes, above what I would expect any other Dr. would have done. Keep you fingers crossed for me.

Did you have the artefill removed? I was never told it is permanent and have granulomas under both eyes and at every injection site. I have been to 2 occular plastic surgeons and they said the only way to remove these is to cut them out which will leave scars. I have been doing
5FU shots and the swelling around the lumps go away only making the lumps look larger. I have 12 lumps on my face including both eyes and am miserable.
Was interested in the surgical results

Did your injector do a test on your arm skin and wait for 30 days? I have been told this should be done to check for allergy first.

I did 5 vials with absolutely NO results after 4 months. Finally chose to try sculptra. I guess we'll see. Very expensive for no results.
