Noticeable Results After My First Treatment

I am a 53 year old male. I am 6'1 approx 210 pounds. I used to excercise regularly and was basically born with a six pack that I still have today (to a slightly lesser degree). I have not worked out in three years.

I developed love handles and a slight pouch as I aged and stopped working out. From the rear you can see the small spare tire I currently carry. I decided to be proactive so I researched various cosmetic options excluding liposuction.

Initially Cool Sculpting caught my eye about a year ago. I viewed this as the best option at the time and decided to wait until after I relocated to my new state and got settled into my new job. Now that I am settled I began looking into options again and came across Vanquish Me. I work in the tech industry so the science of Vanquish made perfect sense and look even less invasive than Cool Sculpting. Additional a much larger area is addressed in one sitting.

Yesterday I went in for my first Vanquish session. The day before the procedure, I purchased a gallon of water and drank about 100 of the 128 ounces, which is nearly half of my numerical body weight. They took excellent care of me throughout the process. I pointed out to the doctor my concerns about the width of my waist and the machine not hitting the back area. They addressed my concerns by conducting a session with me laying on my back and then they turned me over for additional time. Windy was a great conversationalist during the procedure and was very meticulous in the placement of the device. She often inquired if the heat felt even and she kept an eye on the equipment. It felt like an electric blanket on a low-to-medium setting.

When the session ended Windy suggested I massage the areas, drink plenty of fluids, and at a minimum take a brisk walk. I did all three. After just one session my stomach is noticeably flatter and my love handles are smaller. Best of all the skin around these areas is tighter. I saw these results within a few hours after the treatment and after following Windy's suggestions. I couldn't believe it and found myself grabbing my sides and midsection throughout the rest of the evening in amazement. I still have more love handle area to shrink but I am very pleased with the outcome thus far. I think flipping me over for additional time made a huge difference versus attacking the areas from the front only. Next I will ask to start with my back first and then flip me over for more time as the front area does not have much left to burn.

After seeing these results I ordered a Sweet Sweat waist trimmer belt on Amazon. I intend to exercise in it to augment this process. I may mention this to the Doctor's office as an item they might consider selling, giving, or suggesting to their patients. Possibly suggesting not to use until a day or two after each session.

I opened in this forum today due to the excitement I feel regarding this procedure. I am scheduled to have a total of three sessions. One down. Two to go. Please note this procedure targets a specific type of fat, subcutaneous. If you have a bear gut, which is visceral and subcutaneous fat, I don't know how effective this procedure will be for you. It will dissolve the subcutaneous fat that is in front of your ab muscles. However, I think much of a beer gut resides as visceral fat behind the muscles. I could be wrong.

CON: This is the day after the first session. I feel a very light sensation around the treated area. Not pain, but almost like a slight itch or tingle under my skin. Nothing major at all.

For those of you who have unwanted love handles and/or a pocket of fat sagging around your lower abdomen, this procedure is amazing!

Based on my experience, Dr. Newman is a very pleasant individual. He quickly gauged my level of understanding about the procedure and did not waste time telling me things he felt I already knew. I work in the tech field so I completely understood the mechanics behind a resonant RF frequency used in the fat burning process. He also talked a little bit about other options and the pros and cons. The staff was very polite and friendly. Dr. Newman's assistant, Windy, is beyond attentive, professional, and charming. As stated earlier, she was very meticulous in the placement of the RF transmitter over my torso. Although I am former military and don't break easily, she frequently expressed concern for my comfort as she adjusted the table I was laying on for maximum exposure and efficiency. she stayed with me the entire time. You can hear the passion in her voice when discussing health related topics. Bottom line, although I was simply one of hundreds of patients they see over time, they made me feel like I mattered from the moment I called to inquire about the procedure. I did not feel like I was a face in the crowd waiting for someone to call out "Next!" That said, other than the time I spent with Windy, my interactions have been fairly short in duration thus far. No one rushed me away. I simply did a lot of research before deciding to try this procedure so I already knew what I was getting myself into. Additionally, I used to install radar systems at airports across the country so I did not require a lot of explanation or have many concerns save any potential for organ or spinal cord damage, which appears to be no. Others may need more time as most people will not have my background. I can't speak to other procedures performed by this office. My Vanquish procedure thus far has been a very pleasant experience.
