Correction.
WORTH IT$1,275
Correction, the highest setting is 1.4, and that is what I got up to. I realize that I typed 3.4 in my original review.
Also, yesterday I did a second session on the same area. I'm super excited!!

I have a fairly average, healthy body, but have...
I have a fairly average, healthy body, but have very distinct "stubborn areas" which don't seem to go away no matter how good of shape I am in. So I purchased a discounted SculptSure session at the fall open house of Illuminate Plastic Surgery.
I decided to have the treatment done on my lower abs (just below my bellybutton) which is the worst of my "stubborn areas". I saw a loss of about 25% body fat in that area. It's a somewhat subtle difference, but to me the change seemed huge! My stubborn belly fat liked to stick out over my belt, but now my stomach is flatter and looks more natural. I look great in my clothes and feel so much more confident! I'm even more motivated to work out because I'm seeing results I never achieved before with that fat out of the way.
I'll be purchasing more sessions for sure to use on my other troublesome areas, and probably do one more treatment on my stomach.
Molly, Dr. Boudreault's wife was the one to perform the procedure. She's fantastic. I've also had laser hair removal done by her and she's just great to be around. She's very knowledgeable and is patient with all of my questions.
As for the procedure itself, it wasn't as uncomfortable as I expected. Basically, you get a belt strapped to you with the mounts in place for the SculptSure equipment to snap into. It's snug but not too tight. Then, once you get started, it basically cycles between heating and cooling for about half an hour. You start out on a fairly low setting, and based on how you feel about the intensity of the heating and cooling Molly will adjust it so that you get as powerful a session as you are comfortable with. I was able to get up to the 3.4 setting, which was pretty high. I was also on my period during the session, which usually makes you a little bit more sensitive. But even considering that, I was able to get a really good treatment.
One reason I went with Sculpsure instead of Lipo is because there isn't any downtime. The area I had treated was a little sore for a couple days, kind of like after a good gym work out. It's not a common side effect, but my body formed little pockets around the dead cells. It felt like little knots under my skin (in no way were they visible), but I just massaged them for about a week and they went away as my body expelled the dead cells. Molly explained it all, and I didn't worry.
