I'm on Day 2!!

So yesterday I finally got my accutane pills, it's generic brand: Amnesteem, I'm taking 40mg a day.

I haven't experienced any dryness yet, I'm having some joint discomfort but that could be my imagination. In a way that I sort of welcome the side effects because it's an indication that the drug is working.

I've been watching a lot of Youtube Videos about other people's experience, and many of them improve a lot in only 2 months!!!! I want to have the same speed of recovery!!

With so many acnes on my face I rarely take selfies, probably none in a year...I only take selfies for the before and after pictures. When I go out with friends and they are having fun taking pictures I always have this resistance inside me that I don't want to take pictures which makes me really sad...

And let alone getting to know new people.

Acnes really makes me feel ugly, and I sort of stop dressing up... And it's not that fun to dress up because When I do dress up, people notice me a lot from a distance, but when they get closer and see my face, I can feel their discomfort and pity for me. Some of them even are scared of me...

In my healing process, I don't wear makeup, I go to work everyday without makeup because I don't want makeup to interfere with the process. and my coworkers they've known me before I got acnes, so they know that I'm struggling now and they don't really judge. I'm super grateful for that.

So I just posted a picture of me today.

In two weeks I can get Accutane!

I'm still waiting for my Accutane pills, I really can't wait.
For now I'm using Retin-A, one night I put on a lot of Retin-A because I want result faster! Then the next day I was peeling like crazy!!
And I had to go out that night, I put some make-up on but still the skin is peeling. When I return home, I found out that my make up are all cracked night a turtle shell you know what I mean?
So embarrassed! So I start using it every other night, or if I'm sure I'm not going out the next day then I'll put more on my skin.

I also bought lots of tea tree oil from BodyShop, I put on my acnes and I think it's a good disinfection. It's great that this month is my birthday month so I can get the membership card free plus 20% off that day. And afterwards I can get 10% off each time!

I also bought a peppermint mask from lush.com, I read some good reviews about it saying that it's a holy grail product for cystic acne so I'm very eager to try!!

I also got a Acne cream from Taiwan that I find working well for me, it can dry out the specific acnes the next day, I like it so far.

The other day I was counting how many whitehead I have and it's over 100....then I stopped counting...The whitehead is so bumpy and annoying but I can't really do much about it because I can't squeeze it. I just have to wait for Accutane to fix those for me...finger crossed.

One month before Accutane

I'm still on the preparation of Accutane, I'm currently taking birth control pills, and the doctor prescribes me antibiotics and Retin-A for now.

I take antibiotics every 12 hours. And I use Retin-A every other days.
Retin-A can make my skin peel the next day, but it doesn't hurt at all.
