51-year Old Finally Gets a Breast Lift (Anchor Lift) No Implants - Wish I Had It Done Much Sooner!

Since my mid-20s I wished that my breasts were perkier. Over time, they drooped more and more, and I finally decided to have a breast lift in November 2017. I had a face and neck lift done at the same time (I’ll post a separate review shortly). I consulted with three surgeons and I selected Dr. Kim because he was the only doctor to very thoroughly explain what the procedure would involve and answered all my questions very patiently - including the one why a lollipop lift that another surgeon recommended would not work and most importantly, produce lasting results in my case. The procedures were done in Dr. Kim’s on-site surgery center.

8 months later, I am very, very happy with the results. My breasts finally have the “built-in” support I was looking for for many years, and have a nice perky shape. My scars have not completely faded yet, but I knew that would be a longer process for me, as it has been with all my scars.
In mid July, I had my last follow-up appointment. Dr Kim was satisfied with the result, but noted that the skin on the underside of the breast (between the areola and the crease) has stretched more than usual, and offered to tighten the skin some more in a follow-up procedure. This will also help the top of the breast appear fuller again. I accepted and the procedure will be done in October.

I just wish I had not waited to have a breast lift for so long. Initially I was surprised when doctors told me I could go back to work 4-5 days after a breast lift, but it is true. I had hardly any discomfort after 4 days, other than sensitivity, and would have been back at work had it not been for the face lift. And for those concerned about scars - they will fade, it just takes time. And afterwards, you’ll be so happy you went for it.

Dr. Kim is a perfectionist which shows in everything he does: from the consultations, to the procedure, to the long term follow-up and offering corrections if necessary. And importantly, he has the experience and skills to create the results that he envisions. At the same time, he is very honest. He will tell you straight up if he thinks a procedure won’t work for you, or if he thinks a different approach will work better.

I recommend Dr. Kim to anybody, and am planning to have additional procedures done by him in the future.
