Slow Going
I'm at 14 days today. I am very surprised at how long it is taking for the swelling to subside. The doctor has prescribed prednisone. Has anyone taken that? I understand there are a whole host of potential problems related to that. I'm not sure whether I want to take it or wait it out.

I had a lower facelift on July 31. My swelling hasn't changed one bit since day 3 and I'm now at day 7. I'm so frustrated and getting scared! I've done all the cold compresses. My doctor doesn't recommend the compression band because he thinks it delays healing or increases swelling. Has anyone had Hivamat Treatments? If so, do they really make a difference or are they just another revenue generator?
