I was never satisfied with my profile for years even before I had children. I have never been "overweight" per se - even throughout my pregnancy I gained 30lbs and it was off within weeks of their births - so like I thought and my doctor confirmed just lucky genetics lol.. anyway I was anticipating needing a chin implant also but my doctor advised me that was completely unnecessary and would potentially give me a "jay Leno look" he went on to say a simple lipo of the fat in my chin and jaw area will solve the problem.

So here I am 2 days post op - and the surgery and healing was pretty much painless - worst part was my ridiculous anxiety- other than that it was probably the simplest, painless procedure I've ever had. Now I saw my doctor this morning for a little follow up and he said it looks great (I hadn't yet looked) he also warned me it's going to look worse before it's better - (swelling, bruising etc) .. now when looking at my "new neck" I still see a slope in the front that I'm a little disappointed about .. I'm wondering will that flatten? I can definitely see more definition in my jawline but just a little concerned it's not much different. Is that kind of normal 2 days out?

Ugh yea that's what I'm hoping to avoid , I was hoing to get it all fix in one shot lol and from my last revisit which was yesterday 7 days post op he says that little pocket I'm referring to WILL go down so I'm trying to be very optimistic- he seemed very pleased with the results - today tho (day 8) I feel like it's puffier than it was yesterday and feeling like I look the same as before :( hopefully it's just some swelling

Thank you for sharing. I am havin chin lipo and chin implant in 3 weeks with him and your review really helps me feel less anxious. I also have a slope and I hope lipo takes all the fat away. You do not look very bruise either which is great. I believe you will see the results in 3 months.

Aw well I totally understand I'm am the queen of anxiety lol I was so nervous in there the girls felt so bad lol - but one of the nurses "Carrie " was such an angel she helped so much to keep me calm and reassured .. the pain was next to nothing really!! I never even took the Tylenol after - I could literally do that procedure over again without even thinking !! It'll go great I'm sure! Dr delange is a great doctor!!
