I haven’t posted in a while... yesterday was my 6 mo P.O. Although I am pleased with my results, there is something that isn’t sitting well... I’m either not getting that )( that I desire and I’m starting to think they’re too big! This is not a complaint about my doctors work or the healing process or anything of the sort. Re are days I love them - then others where I try on low cut bodysuits and they’re HUGE! Then there’s the slight “sag” in the cleavage. I’m beginning to think I’m crazy - I already went in to have a revision (additional nips on either side of my breast making a U shape instead of the small inverted T I now have) but was leaving for NY and wouldn’t have ample time to recover properly for the additional scarring on either side of my breast. I told my doc it wasn’t anything critical of his work and although accommodating, I felt like I insulted him. I need opinions so I can go back in November armed with proper dialogue and complete a revision if really needed.

Hi. Thanks for the update. My opinion is that you need not worry about insulting, or hurting your doctors feelings. You paid him good money for your surgery. Your happiness is whats most important. You gotta figure out if you want to do a size change, or if its something else thats bothering you about your breasts. And you just gotta be up front, and firm with your doctor. He will be able to tell you whether what you want is achievable or not. It helps to have photos of what you would like your breasts to look like. Find "before" pictures that look similar to your "before breasts". Your happiness is the most important!! You are healing really well! Take care! Happy Healing!

You are not crazy! He is a terrible surgeon. There are several women that he botched and we all had the same experience with him acting insulted and blaming us and our bodies for how his jagged, deep, and unnecessary scars ended up "healing". I had my natural B cups lifted with no implants. How he managed to screw this up is a mystery to me and the revisional surgeons I've been consulting with.

Not much change - still dropping. I’m sleeping on my side and waking up on my stomach. No pain. I do have some “cords” underneath my breast which I have to research but my fiancé had neck surgery yesterday so I’m rushing thru this update to get to him! Happy Holidays everyone!

So the scabbing is almost gone on my left (your right) and coming along nicely on my right. They’re bouncing around and I’ve laid on my side and even woke up on my stomach twice with no pain just a very, very slight discomfort when I get up. I think the right side is lagging slightly but i don’t care too much about that stuff. I know what to expect and I’m only 2 weeks P.O. time, time, time. I’ve been applying Aquaphor to them. I’m not sure what is right, wrong or frowned upon - but I figure this can’t be completely wrong to do. I go for my month P.O. on Jan 3 which at that time we’ll discuss scar therapies and next steps. Hey healing everyone!

Glad you’re healing so well! As you know I’m a big believer in Aquaphor. My PS gave me clearance to use it prophylactically to protect my breast skin from all the swelling and bruising. Some believe it helps to prevent a number of post op skin issues (i.e. rash, suture infections, etc.) including stretch marks. With my very 1st augmentation I ended up with a huge wide stretch mark in my lower pole; I didn’t use any moisturizers back then. My current PS cut it out when he did my breast lift. This time around despite all the stretching of my skin breast (with the lift) I have no stretch marks at all. I’m inclined to believe it was because of the Aquaphor. I also did not have the itching, rash or burning sensation that many other members here have described. I applied it at least 2 to 3 times a day. Good luck and happy healing!

I’ve found that it’s helped me a great deal - a scab was peeling off at the connection of the bottom of my areola and the vertical incision - it came off on its own but the scar was pink and I was worried that it was too raw and sent a pic to my surgical coordinator. she said not to worry. so I put AQ on it to create a barrier and protect it. perfect! I sincerely appreciate your info as that helped me in healing. thanks M!!!
