Never had a problem losing weight before...

Never had a problem losing weight before pregnancy, but afterward - WOW! I'm just shy of 5' 5", and shot up to 215 lbs during pregnancy. I dropped down to 185 lbs, but couldn't get much off afterward. The lowest weight I got to was about 175. Running a home business and taking care of my child as well, I felt active and exhausted by the end of each day, barely having time to eat, and couldn't figure out why this weight wouldn't just drop. Especially eating a diet that consists of no fried foods, no fast foods, no pre-packaged food, and no sweets. BUT finally, I got to the point that I didn't know who I was anymore. The person in the mirror wasn't me, or the me I remembered: fit, slim and pretty. The depression was amazingly bad, too. My whole personality changed from a smiling, laughing, confident woman to a self-conscious, sad and depressed wreck. Plus, I felt so old! I started doing some internet research and thought, well - this might be the first step toward a better outlook on life and a jumpstart to feeling confident enough to get a better grip on my health and fitness. So after looking around, I settled on a place nearby. SO MANY reviews of the doctors in my general area left them all pretty much rated the same, so I figured if I liked the office personnel and I liked the Doctor's demeanor, I'd make my appointment. I loved the staff - though at times they did seem overwhelmed and a little forgetful of promised things like calling in an Rx before close of business (though they took care of it first thing the next day, after I called). So, I felt a little like I had to do some babysitting, but in reality, I think you should have SOME responsibility to yourself when getting any procedure done. The Doctor was confident, showed me three or four previous subjects out of thousands - photos taken in his office, by him, that were not altered. VERY IMPORTANT. I saw before, right after, a week after, a month after...all the way up to 1 year later on subjects getting the same procedure I wanted, to the same areas, and who were also built like me. I can't tell you how helpful that was. There were no false promises, no sugar coating, just the facts. PERFECT for me, an Engineer. The procedure could have gone better. I was pain-free with the exception of my right side: someone had forgotten to put the lidocaine into the IV bag used on that side, so the doctor had to do injections of lidocain to the areas of my back, flank and hip - unfortunately, he was not able to remove as much from my back, flanks and hips as originally planned because of this screw-up. He had reached the max "dosage" of lidocaine, and had to ensure that my right and left sides were symmetrical. So no 2nd pass on the sides and back, and about 500-800 ccs he'd wanted to get off left where it was. I was in very little pain after, and only took the Tylenol 3 that night. The next day I was fine with just 2 Tylenol, and after the Doc's call was told I could start Advil or Aleve to help with reducing swelling. Within another day, I didn't need anything. The first shower or two, I will tell you, stings like crazy on those tiny little cuts. My swelling was bad the first week or two, but I drank pure pineapple juice, for a couple of days, made sure to keep my garment on - I'm still wearing it - and even took the time to rotate as I sleep to help put pressure on the areas to help with swelling. Arnica gel and a hand-held massager work great. I did not and will not get the massage. The Doc told me that it was a waste of money, and my body would heal and drain without it. He okayed a hand-held massager if I felt I needed or wanted massage - and I have to say, for a few days it really DID feel better to massage my abdomen and flanks, but gently and for about 1/2 hr a night. Otherwise, I find the Doc to be spot on with everything.
