When I got the procedure done I was 205 the first week i lost 12lb and felt super sick, nausea vomitting, un able to hold water down . The second week was much better i felt great no need for any of the meds started eating little by little by the end of the second week i gained back 7lb by the third week i felt totally fine i could eat just the same as before i dont feel the ballon at all i gained 2 more pound making a total lost of only 3 pounds .Orbera coach is no help what so ever they just tell you to exercise and eat right the obvious to loose weight. But Orbera is suppose to help with weight loss ,other wise if i just eat right and exercisee i will lose the weight on my own with out the need of Orbera . Everyone has ignored me about this issue it was alot of money for it to just not work .I have contacted Orbera the Doctor the site where it was performed and nothing I hate that I did this and regret it 8500 thrown out the mf window i do not recommend this i could have gotten lipo with this money .. Im angry and depressed :(

Has the dr suggested filling up the balloon with more saline? That is so frustrating that you are able to eat the same amount of food as before the placement. Please keep us posted.

I went to see him about this and he said im suppose to trick my mind into eating less ?? Well whats the use of the orbera ballon ?? He said it is taking up space in my stomach . What Im concerned about now is if its taking space in my stomach plus im still eating like before when I get it removed will i eat more to make me feel full?

Same here. Balloon's definitely still there, it makes it very uncomfortable to exercise or lie on my back. If I run for three minutes, I have cramps that make it difficult to walk for the rest of the day.

I'm about to have my balloon removed, it's been in six months now, and I have lost no weight whatsoever. In fact, if I don't eat, I get pretty bad cramps (as in, can't walk), so I had to abandon the alternate day fasting dieting on which I lost 50lbs in the two years before the balloon. So my weight loss STOPPED because of the balloon. On top of that I have constant gas; burping perpetually for six months to the point where it even wakes me up. I strongly recommend against getting it.
