I am 31 years old nurse that is so ready for the surgery. I'm just shy of a month until the day. I have 4 kids, married, and work full time. I have 10 days scheduled to be off work following the surgery. I have been more than ready for half my life to have smaller boobs. I started wearing a D cup in 6th grade. I have been obsessed with stories, blogs, and pics since I found out I was approved. Is there anything I need to know or to take with me to the hospital? I am not sure about where to buy the best post op bras either.

It's getting closer!

Today marks 3 week until surgery day. I have never been more ready for anything. I stay on this site and other blogs reading about reductions and how to keep myself in tip top shape afterwards. I have taken 10 days as my vacation so I pray that is long enough. I don't lift anything much at work so I can hopefully return on time.

Well things are starting to set in now. Hospital called this morning to preregister for pre-op on Thursday and I am to be at the hospital on Friday June 5th at 5:30am! Ugh, nerves haven't really set in yet. Booked a hotel room close to the hospital since we have to be there so early and it is over an hour away.
Since the days are getting closer it seems I hate my huge boobs now more than ever. They are just in my way no matter what I do. I have not found anything positive out of being well blessed in my years of having them.
I had to quit taking all meds on May 20th and for me who has migraines out the wazoo I am hoping this surgery helps. Tylenol does not do the trick when needed.
I am unsure on size to go to in the end. I honestly said I wouldn't mind to be a B cup but everyone keeps telling me I will regret it. I am a DD or DDD in some bras now and feel the weight of them is as much as two concrete blocks. This site has really helped with going through with the procedure. Hoping this will be the start of a new me!
Will post photos soon as I get the chance.

I am a full DDD/E ... I'm 5'3 and 170 lbs, my doctor said for my size C was perfect! My surgery date is July 9 ~ so excited! I truly have no memory of not having large boobs ... Life changing indeed!
