Well the bruising and holes on chin have gone. Stomach is still tender and blotted. I can already say the jaw is going to be a success! Been going to the gym, lifting maybe at 75% as my stomach reminds me not to overdo it. However I can look at myself in the mirror without seeing that thing called a triple chin. I know I am only 12 days post op and it takes time to heal but patience isn't my forte in that case.

Well it has been 7 days already. Saw my doctor for follow up appointment, all good she said I don't have to wear the chin strap anymore which is great! And only 1 compression garment instead of 2. Chin has come down a lot but it s still fairly numb. Bruising has gone. Not so obvious on the stomach tho but yes it s only 1 week out. Been walking everyday and pump iron at the gym yesterday and today but nothing heavy. Pain is still very much present but nothing that worries me. Actually overall the pain factor wasn't immense except on the first day. Just can't wait to see result from swelling going down. Best of luck if you have an upcoming surgery.
