Micro Peel 16-25 Microns 51 Yr Old

Trying what I am told is the least aggressive laser peel 16-26 microns Emily was very nice and explained everything to me as we went through the process. I bought a groupon for this service after friends told me about it. After asking some questions I realized this is not the peel I thought it was. I was hoping for my brown spots from the sun to be lightened I now know I will have to try IPL laser for that. Since I was already there I went ahead with the procedure.

I just went to urgent care because my face has swollen up more since last pic and I was worried. Dr said I had allergic reaction, but I will be fine. Steroid shot and prednisone for next few days. He said I will be happy with results.

Went to urgent care last night because my eyes were swollen almost shut. Saw the dr and he said this happens sometimes. Histamine allergic reaction to the laser. I did not have a reaction with test spot, but he assured me I am fine. He gave me a steroid shot and prescribed prednisone and hydroxizine. He Also mentioned for me it won’t be just a few day process I will have to deal with this possibly for a full week. Will keep you posted since I can’t leave house looking like this. Well now I know I can’t get this type of peel again. I will stick to the chem peels I have been getting few times per year with no down time.
