Did anyone done it in Ideal Image office? I have it scheduled however reading now all the horror stories I started to fricking out a bit. My concern is that something can get damaged, like nerves or develop a bumps and going forward after the results start wearing off will it speed up the aging? Also noticed that if the good review posted there are lots of pictures before and after. Unlike in bad reviews there are no pictures at all. I'm not sure who to believe.

I'm almost four months. I still have problems with eye swelling - that alone is enough that I would discourage anyone from doing it. I do see improvement in my jawline/under my chin. I have an appointment in August and will compare to my before pics to be sure about the rest of my face. I'll have to wait until the one year mark to see if it accelerates aging or not. I've read through most of the reviews. If you're only going to have your neck/jawline done you should be safe. Any other areas I would recommend you steer clear unless you don't mind possibly ruining your face. Frankly with all the women who have paid thousands of dollars and - at best - have seen no results at all - I can't believe there hasn't been a class action suit for fraud.
Additionally, if you'll read closely you'll notice that some of the women who are pleased with the Ultherapy results also had botox and fillers at the same time (or shortly after). Therefore, they have no idea if it was the Ultherapy that caused the improvement or the fillers.
Do you have any before and after photos you can share?
Also how is your comment corresponds with your personal review of Ultera??? You loved it in your review and said that all swelling is gone! Which one story is a true?
Good job EvaT in pointing that out! IMO and with my experience Ultherapy bs been a godsend. I have had in done 2x's. Once at age 40 and then 6 months ago at age 42. I really think people have the wrong impression of Ultherapy. It is not a facelift. The results will not be dramatic. Yes, it is expensive and very painful but for me it's been great. Even I didn't think it had worked after my first time. During my 3 month follow up I went in sad it "didn't work" on me. Then they showed me my bf and afters side by side and I was shocked at what the results showed. Very happy indeed.
Realself doesn't allow changes to initial worth it/not worth it/unsure. I would change it to unsure. My last update, I had woken up with no facial or eye swelling and thought it was gone. Nope! The eye swelling was back a few days later and I still have it intermittently (twice a week?) which I then gently massage/tap to expel. I didn't have this before. If it weren't for the eye swelling I would be happy with the initial results. My jawline improvement is noticeable and the rest of my face feels tight and firm. I want to wait until six months and verify with before pics and see if the eye swelling stops for good - since that is the clincher for me - before updating my review again. If it wasn't for the eye swelling I would be very pleased. With it? It makes me want to file suit!
Are you here to sell Ultherapy or are you here to help others? Something tells me it's the former, otherwise you would acknowledge there are a lot of horror stories on this site from women who have been - at best - ripped off with no results at all - and - at worst - permanently damaged. The only reason anyone has the wrong impression of Ultherapy is because they have been sold a bag of goods by an unethical, greedy segment of the medical profession.
My provider had just moved so I wasn't able to get copies of the before pics and she doesn't want to take after pics until the six month visit.
I hope you will better eventually and your problem disappear. I've cancelled my appt and they in the process of refunding me money. I just can't take such risk to get my eyes permanently damage. Thank you for sharing your story!
So here are some basics with ulthera ... First if you are looking at the before and after picture and it does not impress you , then ulthera is NOT for you ... When I went for consultation , my main concern was coming out of this procedure older than when I went in, so I asked my Nurse and her response was that healing with this procedure and outcome depends on one persons lifestyle also ..Are they smoker , drinker or on drugs etc... So I did the procedure 3 months ago ... Took vitamins and did sauna therapy to aid with a clean lifestyle . I was told not to take ibuprofen for 6 months and I took the advise ..I can tell u that I am 1000 percent happy with my procedure .. My eyes , skin , cheeks are lifted and I am only on halfway mark . I might also been a good candidate coz I have a round face with thick skin . I am not NAIVE to think that this procedure will last forever coz we all age everyday ... Gravity is a hard thing to fight therefor one should have a reasonable expectation . I also believe that this procedure is not for everyone ... I'm not sure if I lost face fat ( just slightly ) but my jaws are more refined and took years off my look .. I do advise that you do your homework and good luck to you
FYI ... I'm 48 yrs old and never had fillers ever ... The result I'm having right now that I'm very happy with is 100 percent from ulthera
Thanks for your review! Did you do the whole face? If not what part? Was you face swollen eye or bruised? Did you get your under eyes puffiness after that? Or any other complications? I don't smoke, drink or use any drugs just vitamins. I'm 40 yo.
I did the whole face and neck ...she normally do 3.0 power but I opted for 4.5 and it was the most painful thing I ever did..I swelled up pretty bad .. Welts and burn mark complication that lasted a couple of weeks .. Tenderness to three weeks .. I will post my before and after picture in Oct when I get them so u can be the judge .I am in three months and can still feel stinging some days all over .
