Day 37
The Dr said I was doing the massage incorrectly and showed me how to do it again. I thought the idea was to flatten the incision but it was actually for moving the water that was collecting under my eye. What I had been doing was making it worse. So glad that I didn't wait till the next week for my 1 month appointment. It is getting better, but it seems to be at a s n a i l's pace. We are impatient aren't we?.......
Day 26
No word from DR yet but I started laying down with warm compresses a lot more often and last night I started using the antibacterial ointment that I had bought for the surgery. I should use it up, it cost about $50.!!! As soon as I woke up I started again with warm compresses and ointment.
Day 25
Getting scared and e mailed my Dr a pic with a not about what is going on. Staying inside today, no walks outside even though it is so nice and warm :-/ When I shower I try to avoid the full blast of the water but even doing that it gushed in because my eye is now drooping so much. It really burned even though I was not even using soap. Not it looks all bloodshot. Didn't hear from DR yet so I called. They called back and gave me a different e mail address to send my note and pic to.

I was highly recommended this Dr by my girlfriend who had a full facelift and a butt implant. He was OK, can't say he was particularly charismatic but then that was not important to me. It helped to actually know someone who was happy with his work. I will let you know as the swelling goes down as to my overall opinion.
