Hello Ladies, I have been on the site lurking for about 2 months now gathering information and finally decided to tell my story. I am 43 and I have a son who is 22 out on his own and has his own business so now is the time for me to do this. I've been wanting a TT for the longest time and finally decided to do it but here in the US. I wish I would have found this site sooner I could have saved some money knowing about going out of the country to have it done. I have told no one of my plans because I don't need to hear the negative remarks. It's my body and I do what I wish. People at work I told I was having hernia repair and my supervisor was dieing to know what procedure I was having done but I didn't tell her. In my office, you can't keep anything confidential and I hate it but I've been there 11 years and because jobs are scarce I'm stuck there for now. Anyway I weight 149 and I am also having my inner thighs done at the same time. I do exercise I do rowing and I watch what I eat but the pouch still exists so it's time for it to go. I wanted to do breast lift but the surgeon was charging way too much so I plan on doing that maybe in June/July out of the country. I will post an update after surgery.

Post day 4- All I can say is wow. I think the hardest part of all this for me is the getting up and down. Living alone makes things difficult so I thank my lucky stars my sister was well enough from her surgery in January that she was able to stay with me for a few days. I am more in discomfort than in pain and I am still numb. I haven't seen the end results the bandages come off Friday. Looking forward to seeing the new belly.

Good for you! Hang in there - it will all be worth it. It took me a good 4 weeks to feel zero soreness after my tummy tuck. I had 2 umbilical hernias repaired by my surgeon while he was in there doing the tummy tuck. I also had a breast augmentation done at the same time. Rough recovery, but I love the results, my scar has literally disappeared (I had the procedure 8 years ago). Couldn't be happier! Keep us updated!

Thanks for the encouragement. I had my inner thighs done too but they don't look so good. I go see doc today. They look nasty. My garment was the wrong one the surgeon's nurse forgot to tell me to buy one so I got one last minute at sears and it was too tight so the surgeon ripped it off at the hospital.

Day 6- was able to take a shower and that was...
Day 6- was able to take a shower and that was exhausting. Just going up the steps was exhausting. Ended up taking a 10 minute break on the bed afterwards before heading back downstairs then took long nap. Getting around is a bit easier but I tire out quick. I still have my drain pumps in which are a pain can't wait until they come out. Taking my supplements daily, drinking water, don't have much of an appetite but have eaten some light meals, oh coughing is a [RS bleep]. Pillow or no pillow it hurts. I think I lost my tattoo I had on my hip I don't see it. Surgeon never said anything about that part of fat coming off so not happy if it is gone. That area is bandaged so I can't tell. I seen a picture of the pieces that came off and all the fat suctioned out I thought I going to barf. Seriously that was nasty. 2 chunks inner thighs and 2 chunks my stomach pouch. My stomach is very very tight. My son really stretched me inside and out and he was a month early. When I had him they told me if I would have been full term he would have been 11 lbs. I will post a before and after when I'm able.

I went to Dr. Levin, he is on Lititz Pike. Lancaster Plastic Surgery. I am waiting to heal up some before I rate him.

I looked and him and was going to go there for a consult then I saw Dr. Tattlebaum on this sight and a bunch of his patients, so I consulted with him a couple of weeks ago and am waiting on paperwork from his office. Dr. Levin seemed good. You seem to be happy with it. So cool to see someone so close going through the same procedure. So you got muscle repair and lipo along with the TT? Did you do Breast Augmentation too?

Yes TT, muscle repair, inner thighs & lipo No breasts I wanted to do butt lift but it was too pricey. You would think he would give a deep discount with everything I got but no. The TT was on special $1k off, that was it. I didn't like that either. I won't say that I am happy just yet I'm still bandaged and bruised. Honestly seeing my tattoo gone really upsets me because that wasn't talked about. My tat was on my higher thigh they were working on my inner thighs and belly I will be saying something on my next appt. I'm just not liking the whole look of the stitching of my inner thighs the doc says its normal and it looks ok I'm just concerned its going to be a noticeable scar when wearing a bikini or shorts or when bending over. A friend of mine had recommended Dr. Rodriquez in Maryland but I didn't want to go that far out and she looks great she had TT and boobs done & he did a great job. Again I didn't want to go out that far and you have to stay there a week for recovery which I couldn't do. I have 2 small dogs. I'm sure I could have arranged something but I just wasn't up to it. My research on this doc he had no lawsuits no complaints board certified great reviews scars looked good after surgeries. That's why I want to wait to do my review on him I need more time to heel before I make a judgement call. I wanna do a breast lift & butt lift and may go out of country to do it, getting passport ready just in case. Dominican Republican has 2 docs that do great butt lifts if that is something you are interested in. Yes it is cool to be so close to someone that is having the same done, not everyone understands why your doing it only you do and the thousands of ladies on this site. This site is great.
