So to start, I'm a 22 year old mother of 2. My boys are 2, and 10 months. I'm 5'1, 128lbs. I'm currently a 32C roughly (I'm asymmetrical). I'm looking to have a full D, husband wants a full DD LOL so I'm good anywhere between the two. My BA is scheduled for Dec 23rd at 7 am. I will be seeing Dr. Edds in Owensboro KY, about 3 hours from home. At my consult we decided on saline implants using dual plane. 475cc on my right side, 525cc on my left. I've already had my pre-op, just did my blood work today, and have already filled my prescriptions and picked up all my vitamins and hibiclens. So the only thing I was waiting on was my post op bras, but even they showed up today! So now it's just a waiting game!! I'm extremely excited for my new boobs, but really scared of the recovery. My husband unfortunately couldn't get time off work, and I have no family in the state, so I will be on my own with both boys the day after my surgery.

Good luck with your surgery. I ended up being at 34DD with 375/400 silicone moderate plus. But look at the dimensions to really compare with others because silicone and saline differ so much. I was ok by day 3 as far as not needing help. Will you be able to pick up your babies?

Thank you! Im doing moderate profile saline. I'm not allowed to pick up anything over 10 lbs for the first 8-10. :/ the baby is nearly 20 lbs. my two year old is gonna be a piece of cake. He feeds himself, he can get into bed by himself, etc. so it's just the baby that's gonna be tough.

Aw I know it's so hard with little ones. My oldest is 7 and was able to help me a lot. Hopefully you can get some help or it may not be that bad. I was never in pain just uncomfortable and couldn't do much. Just have a movie day and order pizza :)

I'm praying its just an easy recovery! I've done well with both c-sections, so here's to hoping my BA is just as smooth. Unfortunately my husband works 3-11 so he'll be gone most of the day and because it's so close to the holidays, the few friends I have within driving distance are gonna be too busy with their own stuff. So I'll manage.

You really really need to get help those first few days. It hurts to open a toothpaste tube, much less care for babies! You can't pick them up. You can't bend over or lift your arms, much less lift anything over 5 lbs. You will hurt yourself and compromise your recovery. It's not that the pain will be bad, that can be very manageable, but there's a good chance you will need pain meds and you can't be by yourself. On the meds. You can't drive if there's an emergency. You need to enlist a good friend's help, for sure, so that you don't do too much. You are at risk for a hematoma if you do too much those first few days so get someone to take care of you. I've had a revision based on complications -- you don't want to set yourself up for that on day one.

Unfortunately none of my friends are willing to come over with me because my surgery is two days before Christmas. My husband goes back to work on Christmas Eve. And all my family lives in Florida so they can't help. I've exhuasted all my resources.

Hey I have my op 8 days ago and also have two kids...one nearly 5 year old and the other 6 months. I had helo for the first 5 days then had to go it alone...I have been extremely careful when picking my boy up and used arms and legs and sucked tum in. I also had overs with makes if far less risky but still. If you can get any help the first few days do for sure. I have been surprised how much this surgery has taken out of me...I still feel tired but healing very well fingers crossed it continues x x I started at a c cup like you and had 420cc mod profile x Good luck x x

Thank you Hun! I got lucky. I managed to hunt down an old friend who I haven't talked to in a few years, and she's agreed to come over and stay for a few weeks! I'm super relieved about that. I was getting a bit worried!
December 6, 2014
Ahh brilliant that's great news as you really do need the help! I worry even at the moment that I shouldn't be lifting the boy and do it as little as possible and I'm on day 9 now. You do feel guilty though, I do miss throwing him around so to speak but it won't be for long x x
December 6, 2014
Hopefully my new girls are worth it in the end! Lol
December 6, 2014
Yes totally...Iwe ll be chucking the kids around in no time atall x
December 21, 2014
Hey there! I'm 10 days post op, and I strongly suggest you either find a babysitter who can help you during the day when your man is at work, or else reschedule for a time he can take off. This surgery is no joke, and lifting anything that first week is a seriously bad idea that won't just hurt, it might wreck your result. I have 2 toddlers, and had a sitter here every day with me and I would never have been able to do it without her help. Take care of yourself, mama. You could get very hurt.

Size?!

Thatgirl525
So I decided to try rice sizers at home since I'm slightly worried about the size of implants my doctor chose. Either I messed them up, or I need bigger implants. They seem awfully small to me. What do you think?

Look at natrelle's website and look at the dimensions of the ones you are getting. The 339 mid plus is comparable to mentors 375 mod plus. My doc told me rice sizers aren't the best because it doesn't take into consideration the measurements and profile of the implant.
December 6, 2014
Maybe that's why I'm not crazy about them! They seem small lol I was freaking out a bit, I'm glad I didn't call my PS to change my sizes lol
December 6, 2014
Hey are the rice sizers 475 and 525? As the look lots smaller than that... Starting off at a C cup and adding implants of the sizes you have mentioned will def get you to a DD I'd have thought.. I've had 420cc on top of my natural C cup and I'm pretty sure I will be a DD easily when healing finished x x
December 6, 2014
Yeah they are! That's why I was like wtf? I'm gonna assume the site I found the cc conversion on was wrong. My PS said I would be a DD, possibly DDD if I went to Victoria Secret.

Pre-op size

Figured I would go ahead and post my pre-op pics. I won't do [RS bleep] (over protective husband lol) but hopefully it'll give you an idea of my current size and shape. I am going crazy waiting for my surgery date! Everything on my end is done!! I know my husband is sick and tired of hearing me talk about boobs. Lol
