Well, not much change. I'm pretty sad about it! The massage cupping has worked, but only in the "cleavage " area. I'm sure it won't work on the crease, only because there is no tissue left there, and there is quite a dip under the nipple... yep! Pretty sad!

My first impression of Dr. Young is that he is a very caring man! He listened to my concerns and took his time answering my questions, he is very well informed and makes sure you understand all aspects of the surgery. His office worked with me to get me in as soon as possible, and scheduled for surgery in the same manor, due to the pain I am in. I am looking forward to having surgery with Dr. Young!

Hey Lisa! Don't get down yet... It could turn around... You have a full year to wait before final result! Also... I read that eating one avacado a day can help break up scar tissue. There's also an avacado supplement you can take if you don't like avacados. Lastly... It it really tethered right or do you think wearing nipple shields could help keep that area pulled out? I have been wearing "lilly padz" 24/7 and they seem to be helping. They just sort of suction everything outwards giving your body the space it needs in there to remodel itself. They are intended to stop breast milk leaks. Xx

Thank you for words of encouragement! Where did you get those?

aah I'm sorry you are having this. Is there some sort of scan or MRI or other way to see what's happening, to check if the scar is adhered to the muscle or something. Maybe its worth checking out a few surgeons in your area to get a second opinion.
I'm a bit scared of fat transfer, after my surgeon told me he won't do it as he believes the fat is too risky for breast cancers later on.
But maybe there is some sort of revision that can be done to help things along.

I agree with naturallyfree - can you explore the option of scar release surgery down the track?

The way it feels, I don't think it is adhearing under the nipple area.. but there was some in cleavage. . And the massage cupping worked for that. My husband is trying to convince me it's not bad at all, and he could live with it.. ahahaha bless his heart! He tries to massage it into shape.

I have a similar deformity and as time passes I can see now it's from tissue removal. I'm going to see about having fat grafting -not for size but just enough to fill in the hole where tissue was removed. I think you look beautiful and it's so much better to feel super right? I keep buying interesting bra and undies sets as a sort of smoke and mirror effect for my husband. He thinks I'm a little over reacting but it's fun for me anyways. I had to replace all my meds so why not have some fun matching! Hoping you're continuing to be well! Hugs!

I got the all clear to do massage on my adhearing issue with my left breast.. I was told to be pretty aggressive with it. I found it was just too painful! I did some research on different types of massage. I came across a massage for woman that have had a mastectomy. . They are in pain more than we are, the technique is much more tolerable! With further research, I think I have found our answer!!!! I purchaced some silicone massage cups!!! I will get them this Saturday. . The massage cups are used for many things, especially used to loosen adhearing scars... I am so excited to get started with this, and give updates and photos of progress! ! Much love to all, and pray this works for myself, and all with the same issue!! Big hugs everyone!

A small change closer to cleavage area, but no change around areola yet.. but do show a small change if I put my shoulders back.. I'll do photos later.. Best of luck on your surgery!! It is worth it!

Thanks so much for this information and for posting your continuing progress! Lets hope this does the trick!
February 27, 2016
Hi, thanks so much for sharing! I am preparing for something similar since both areaola scars have done similar things WITH my implants in. I imagine it will get worse once removed. I sent pics to my explant doc of me flexing (which is when I can really see it) and she said that it has more to do with how the muscle was dissected than adherence. Just thought I would through that out there in case it helps you get to the bottom of it? Perhaps your surgeon could offer some sort of muscle repair? But I hope that the massage is all you need! also... have you heard of cyrotherapy? I haven't researched it enough but I think its something that could help? Keep us posted! seining you healing energy. xx

I went to see the Dr. Yesterday. . NO change in the left girl, pretty sad about that! I asked I there were a magic massage to make her act right, he said there wasn't. . Is anyone on here doing massages? And how soon can you massage them? I'm only a week out, and just had my drains removed.. I tell ya, it sure feels good to sleep in bed, and on my sides again!

I am so sorry Left isn't fluffing out more! I guess just focus on your health and feeling better. That's really more important than aesthetic at this point? (Just trying to think positive!) I've seen some vast improvement on this site after a month or even several months. Your girls were smooshed under implants for so long that maybe it will just take longer for you. I would personally recommend waiting to massage and let your tissue heal and settle down first. They say 4 weeks and we can get back to regular exercise because that's when incisions are strong and won't break open

My PS never told me anything, so I've been massaging mine with coconut oil and frankincense essential oil one to two times a day since week one. I am developing a fold in my right breast from the muscle that is getting worse as I work out more. My left one has it too, but since I have more breast tissue on the left, you can't see it unless I flex. If I would have known that placing these stupid things under my muscle was going to leave me disfigured when they came out, I would have NEVER put them in. Of course...they won't tell you that.....I'm hoping eventually it will soften up....

Dang it, I'm sorry! I didn't think it would happen if they were under the muscles. . Mine was over the muscle. I've been checking into going to massage therapy for it.. but, don't want to go too soon, or too late, there has to be a happy medium...
February 15, 2016
I wouldn't worry too much... I've seen this before and it usually mellows out! But I would get a second opinion about massage... I have read its it helps. I have the same problem, BTW, and I haven't even had my implants removed yet. yoiu can only see it when I flex. I believe its because the scars are attached to the capsules. Did you have your capsules removed?
