Almost 8 months post op

I had a small revision because my textured implants didn't drop and fluff enough. I could not be happier with the results! The size, shape, movement is perfect. My recovery after the revision is going so well, very little pain / discomfort. I will add [RS bleep] shortly!

Before picture

Just wanted to add a before picture. The only one I have is from a consult computer imaging.

1-9 week update

I'm now 9 weeks post op. My implants are Sientra textured round high profile 415cc.

I had my 2 month follow up and Dr. said everything is healing well. My left incision is a bit red still, but nothing to be concerned about. I had been wearing a compression band since 2 weeks post op, but he told me yesterday I didn't have to wear it anymore. Yay! That thing was the toughest part of recovery. So now I'm just waiting on gravity to take over and give me a more natural slope.

I didn't realize that textured implants can take MUCH longer to settle / drop and fluff. I'm currently still glad I went with textured, the thought of being able to move a smooth implant around in the pocket grossed me out a little bit. I also like that textured implants slightly lower the risk of CC. I'm *trying* to be as patient as possible as I wait for the upper pole to decrease and lower pole to increase. From what I've heard 3-6 months is when I should start seeing that happen. I was hesitant to post pictures as my breasts still look odd, but maybe this will help ladies feel more comfortable with their own healing process.

Dr. Young is professional, yet very personable. He is the first doctor I consulted with and I could have scheduled the surgery that day without speaking with any other doctors. He, and his staff, encouraged me to seek other opinions before making my decision. I never felt rushed or pressured to decide on the spot. You can really tell how much Lori, Kim and the rest of the ladies respect him and admire his work. They are also very caring and understanding while discussing all elements of the surgeries and fees. Do not expect cheap prices at this practice, it was on the higher end of what I was expecting, but I think he is worth every penny. Price should never be the biggest determining factor when it comes to your body, health and safety. It was also important to me that the surgeries were performed in a surgical center under the care of an anesthesiologist. My second consult was almost $3000 less and I was feeling guilty at the price difference but my husband pretty much told me to go with Dr. Young because he could see how comfortable I felt with him. You can tell he is very confident, but never comes across as cocky or condescending. I felt that he valued my opinion instead of brushing it aside in favor of his own vision. He was realistic about my outcome and I trusted his judgement. His nurse is quick to reply to any questions and Dr. Young followed up with me the day after my surgery. I have nothing but kind words for him and his entire staff.
