Well i am not going to lie. I continue to have pain 3 weeks out now. Numbness and burning in my arms. The incisions mostly healing well but i do have a fluid collection. It opened, drained and closed but still there. I just want to feel better????

I hope you start feeling better soon so you can enjoy your new arms.

I am almost 3 weeks too. I think the tightness, burning feeling is more now than day 1. I was guessing it was because the numbness is going away and the nerves are firing up. The pain I have is more the incision in the armpits and at the elbow. It looks like there is more swelling around my elbow. I hope that goes away.

I think this is normal... I hope...

Are you wearing your compression sleeves? My arms always felt better with compression. I still wear them at now 7 weeks post op

I am about five weeks post op and the numbness just left my right arm. I had severe pain in my left arm (which I thought was nerve damage)....no matter where I would touch my incision the pain was in my elbow. That just recently subsided, however that arm is still numb. I can live with numb, but am happy the pain is gone. Best of luck to you.

Thank you so much for posting, I'm considering the same surgery and it's very helpful to see and hear how others get on after the surgery. I hope you're feeling less discomfort than when you last posted in January - please give an update when you have the time. Wishing you all the very best.

still having issues with swelling especially at the elbow. By the end of the day the sleeves can be miserable but it is all worth it.

Wow! I think you have a great result and it will only get better with time. Congrats and keep us posted.

Can't wait for mine 2/3/16!

I had mine done on the 28th, I finally got them unwrapped today. A little swollen and the scar is more on the backside. I didn't want to look too closely as I know it looks worse now and will only look better soon. I am just happy not to see all that skin hanging.

Are you wearing any compression sleeves or bandages?

Looking good!

Your scar placement is amazing. I'm hoping mine ends up the same way! 1/14/16

Looking great!!! I have been planning on having this done for a while. Originally would've been this month but had to postpone due to other medical issues. Am now planning on next January with a different Dr that I actually like better!. He went into more detail during the consult than either of the other docs I saw. Can't wait to have slimmer arms!!!

I took my ace wraps off today and was scared to put on the garment but it really didn't hurt, just scary. The scars look terrible, but I know its only 48 hours and to make any comments now would be just dumb. I can't say that I have had any pain greater then a 4-5 but very sore and achy in places. The wraps were tight and uncomfortable but.....no one promised me a picnic.

I think you will have a great result! They already look good, and it's only two days out.

I'm having my arm lift on 2/3/16, but my issues are weight loss related and not age related.

I will follow you and keep tabs on your progress. Happy new year with your new arms! ;)

That looks very beautiful! The scar is very narrow! You will end up with a minimal line not visible by others!!! Congrats!! I am having my surgery on Thursday 1/7/2015! Can't wait!!

Do you have a follow up after the two days? I would love to see a picture now two years later. How do you feel and can you wear tops to expose your arms.
