Lip Surgery (Questions About Lip Lift for the White Lip and Reduce the Red Lip)

Your advice for specialist surgeon who could help me for my lip ??
No change still now for esthetical and functional problems due to the lip surgery done by Dr Dombard in Belgium. I saw a lot of surgeons all over the world (Europe and USA), a big waste of time, money and energy to try to find solutions to this mess. Because of functional problems of my upper lip I had to stop singing (I miss it a lot) and I've a lot of problems to speak a long time during meetings, so I avoid this kind of situation but it's a problem for my work. It will be very difficult to repair and improve the very bad result of the lip surgery but I still try. For functional problems, I now try to regain some sensitivity with the help of a physiotherapist who's specialist in electrotherapy, it's my 8th consultation. I hope it will help. For esthetical I've no solution. I should make a kind of lip lift to bring up my falling lip but I'm afraid of the result and visible scars. My lip should also be reduced and the outline of my lip redrawn. If anyone has any advice to find a really good surgeon who could help me to repair my lip, please tell !!?? Because that ruins my life every day since 5 years, this without forgetting the other missed parts of my face and my breathing problems which are not resolved. My nightmare goes on...

(I live in Belgium, sorry for my bad english) After a nose surgery, my white lip became too long but I founded the curve and size of my lips perfect.
To reduce the white lip, the Dr. has adviced to make a lip advancement in which the incision is made at the border of the lip and white tissue removed to allow for advancing the red lip upward. The result was not natural, with a scare and my lip was too big (I saw after on internet and with other surgeons that that kind of surgery is not advice in any case and give bad results! ;-(.
Because my lip was then become too big, the Dr has then reduced the red lip by inside the mouth.
Results: now my upper lip is no more beautiful (the drawing/curve), with a visible scare, not natural and still too big and the white lip is still too long : 2 cm (we don't see my teehts when I open the mouth). But also (very important), now it's like if my uper lip was always asleep (and the surgery was done more than two years ago). It's a problem for me every day when I speak and I had stop to sing.
I had other surgeries in the same time with this surgeon and everything is wrong.
I was model 20 years ago and today is the first time in my life that I feel me ugly.
I feel very bad, to make this surgeries is the worth thing in my live. It's very hard for me and has a lot of consequences in my life (private and professional).
Today I'm sad like that. Except Dr Cornette de Saint Cyr in France or Dr Rodriguez, Dr Hornedski in USA I've found no specialist for lips in my country.
Could you give me your advice :
1/ Would it possible to reduce my upper lip even more (because it was already reduced once + my lip is like asleep) ?
2/ Would the lip lift adviced in my case to reduce the white lip (after having reduce the red lip because the lip lift make the reed lip bigger)?
3/ If yes, would you advice me lip lift or italian lip lift ?
4/ What about scars and natural effect with this kind of surgery (take care that my nose goes up, without hollow under the columella)?

hi! I think your lips don't look bad. They are beautiful. I know that after surgery everything looks strange, but it's a matter of time. I hope you will feel more confident with your lips with the time
The first picture (left) is "before" surgery and the second one (right) is "after". I already had an other surgery when I was 20 years old and this was good. This surgery was done more than 2 years ago and I can tell you that the result is really bad (when I see picture of me before and after, it's very difficult for me). All surgeons I've seen after, my friends and family said to me that it's a mess. I was really more beautiful before the surgery. After more than 2 years it's unfortunatelly no more a question of time.
I agree with Medialob and jj9093 - I think your lips are beautiful. They look different from your lips before but are still lovely. I am so sorry you have numbness in your lip after 2 years. Since it's been over a year since you posted, I really hope it's better now. I think the right surgeon could give you a result you are happy with. Wishing you the best! :-)
Oh wow. I know what you mean about feeling ugly now after a surgery. I had a lip lift and during the recovery I thought I was going to look like that permanently. I felt ugly for the first time in mylife. I can tell you that from your pics your lips look great not to mention I can only see your lips. With your face I bet you look really good. You may not be used to your new look yet, but again I think your lips look good.
The first picture (left) is "BEFORE" surgery and the second one (right) is "AFTER". I loved my lips before, I just wanted to reduce the distance between my nose and my upper lip. I didn't have a lip lift, the surgeon has proposed to cut the red part of my lip and now its really uggly. This surgery was done more than 2 years ago. All surgeons I've seen after, my friends and family said to me that it's a mess. I was really more beautiful before the surgery. After more than 2 years it's unfortunatelly no more a question of time.
