How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.

Conclusion

The treatment seemed to take full effect after 1 month and last about 4-6 months. The circles under my eyes were lighter and the skin was plumper, resulting in the fine lines being less visible. Given the recovery time and the cost, I might repeat this procedure say a month or two before a special event. I think other treatments provide comparable results with less downtime at a similar cost. Do your research beforehand to understand what a treatment could do for your skin type and age and what results your selected aesthetician has achieved.

One week later

The swelling was mostly gone by Sunday (3 days after the treatment) and by today, one week later, the swelling is limited to the injection sites. Some bruising around the eyes is still apparent. The skin is pinker than normal but foundation masks that.

Day 4

The mornings still see my eyes swollen and an hour or so is needed to get them looking normal. By mid-afternoon, the peeling had finished enough to use foundation and concealer to look presentable for a family dinner. The skin looks like a sunburn now and the bruising around the eyes is going yellow and green.
