Although I read many reviews about anything and everything online (restaurants, movies, vehicles, proceedure!), this is my first time reviewing myself. Reading Dr. Nodwell's reviews is what prompted me to chose him to for my coolsculpting proceedure in the first place. That is why I feel the need to add a review after having experienced unprofessional, quite frankly somewhat traumatic experience at his clinic. The initial consultation was very quick, made an appointment since I was told I was a prime candidate, and was told the procedure was painless by the assistant. The day of the assistant placed the machine on my abdominal, and twice during treatment I 'fainted', but according to my husband, I had ceasures since my body was convulsing, my heart rate was very low and I had severe nausia (that persisted late in the night...). I have never in my life experienced anything remotely close to that, not even during child birth. Although my reaction was said to be very abnormal, and I am understanding to the fact that the clinic could not predict such a reaction, it was their lack of care, and professionalism that was disconcerting. Upon seeing my color going green and my lips turning blue, second time 'fainting' as they called it, my husband pressed and 'emergency button' for help, after which I had the second ceasure, convulsing on the chair, and it took 10 to 15 minutes for the assistant to come back in the room, as I was coming back to, unable to hold my head up, or speak... she found a doctor, unrelated to this treatment, and that quite frankly looked a little lost... and she terminated the treatment. We were left alone, she said she was going to find warm blankets (which took another 15 minutes) and when I was strong enough and conscious enough, we were able to walk ourselves to lobby, where we were given our bill. The assistant said she consulted Dr Nodwell for medication recommendation, but not only did he never come out of his office, I have never seen him or heard of him. When my husband communicated and email to then expressing his disappointment at the lack of care, etc (he was much more traumatized or perturbed than myself since I was unconscious!, and he could see me convulsing, blue in the face etc... I'm not a complainer...) we received a long biased and tweeked chronology of events, a 'cover your bumb' version, fearing a possible lawsuit I can only assume, even claiming calling me in the evening to make sure I was well, which was completely false. I therefore can only recommend to go elsewhere for adequate care, my reaction was unusual, but the negligence and unprofessionnalism were inexcusable. Finally, and lastly, the other reviews on here for Dr Nodwell sound suspiciously like they could come from the staff and receptionists that work at the clinic. One of them also was very open about having had her 'body done', being wedding ready... perhaps not, but i've certainly learned to be more careful and skeptical with reviews... hoping this will be helpful, all the best.

I was just there at the office for a consultation. I was happy with the consultation but I am having second thoughts after reading this review. Thanks for sharing.
