Since I remembered I had a puffy face and I always...
Since I remembered I had a puffy face and I always disliked the way my nose looked. I had a quite low self-esteem in relation to that I didn't feel attractive and I wanted to change the way my face and nose looked. I started to do my research approx. 1.5 year before I decided to go ahead with those surgeries. I was born in Poland however I live in Dublin, Ireland most of my life. At first I was doing a research where and which doctor will decide to remove my Buccal fat pads and do full lifting and many doctors were turning me down saying that I am too young and I need to exercise more. This was very frustrating as my diet and exercise I could not get the results I truly wanted. Finally I found Dr.Piotr Osuch clinic and I decided to send an email. I got a reply within few hours with fully description of what effect I want to achieve and when I would be able to fly over for a consultation.
Within a period of few months I decided to fly over to Warsaw to have a consultation with Dr.Piotr Osuch at his clinic.
My first expression of Dr. Osuch was truly amazing. He looked after me very well and I felt that I can talk about all my worries and ask how many questions I want. His approach for all patients are truly amazing as you feel straight away that the clinic care about you and will look after you very well.
I talked with Dr.Piotr for over 1h and we decided to schedule both operations in the same month. Usually no doctor would agree to this however because I live in Dublin it would be much harder for me to fly over more than 1 time that's why I was truly amazed that he agreed to this with me.
My first operation which was Rhinoplasty was scheduled for the 1st of August 2016 in the Clinic, that's why I decided to fly over few days before to Warsaw and stay for over 1 month for the fully recovery.
I arrived around 1h before the scheduled operation and immediately I was approached by nurses that shown me my room and made me feel comfortable and relax.
After that I had a meeting with one of Dr. Osuch’s anaesthetics, very lovely lady that went through in details all procedures and the surgery process. I asked a lot of questions like'' how long the surgery will be'' etc.
Just before the scheduled rhinoplasty surgery, Dr. Osuch came to the room and made sure that I am all relaxed and without stress before he would take me on the surgery room.
Rhinoplasty surgery was approx. 2hours.
Please see attached pictures of the clinic and before and after nose surgery photos. Second photo was literally taken after I woke up. I did not felt any pain at that stage and my face was not swollen either. I felt that I could not breathe through my nose as stiches and bandages would not allow me too so that was a tiny discomfort. However, in terms of pain I was in such a happiness maybe that's why I did not feel any pain. My night was good and I slept all first night in the clinic.
At the next morning I was able at around 10am to go home and doctor make sure that the taxi is ordered for me. One of the nurses escorted me to taxi outside and made sure that I have all belongings with me.
I received antibiotics prescribed by doctor and a letter with recommendation of what should I do if I feel pain etc.
I had doctor's mobile number along with the clinic number so in case of any emergency I was able to have a contract with him straight away.
On my 4th day my face started to swallow and I was unable to open my eyes however I have been told that this is absolutely normal and there was nothing to worry about. This stage lasted about a day or two then my face started to have more yellow colour instead of dark red.
Every time when the pain was stronger I was able to take painkillers and the pain was much better so I did not complain a lot.
The only thing I did not liked was the fact that my nose was very dry and this kind of was driving me crazy, however this as well is a normal healing process so I just had to be patient until the day my stiches and cast is fully removed.
In the mean time I was fully active and I didn’t feel a need to be stuck at home that’s why decided to explore this beautiful city – Warsaw.
Exactly 11 days after my Rhinoplasty I came back to the Clinic for my second surgery which was Buccal Fat Removal with Liposuction and Full lifting.
I arrived at around 8 AM on the 11th of August for my next surgery and as previously the same procedure took place. I had a meeting with Dr.Piotr Osuch’s anaesthetics I have signed a form before surgery and I had a meeting with Dr.Osuch just few minutes before surgery. He drew lines on my cheek area and neck area to know exactly from which places he will be removing the fat from and marked also areas behind my ears for the lifting.
When I arrived to the surgery room I had my hair up and I was lying down on special bed.
I got an injection and in the period of 1 minute I was already asleep.
Surgery was about 2.5-3hours long.
After the surgery it took me about 2hours to wake up and my head was fully wrapped with bandages.
First few hours were hard for me as I felt ‘’pulling ‘’ sensation every time I was trying to move my head.
However, I was receiving pain killers that fully helped me through that first night.
Next morning, I was able to go home.
I also received antibiotics and painkillers along with special gel that helped me get rid of swallow areas.
I was wearing special elastic bandage that was wrapped around my head and I was unable to wash my hair for the first 7 days.
During few nights were good apart of pulling sensation I had to rest a lot make sure to have on elastic bandage during day and night.
My first control visit was scheduled after 7 days and nurse washed my hair with a special shampoo and dried them for me. After that I had a meeting with my Dr. Osuch, he cleaned my stiches and removes 2 or 3 however the rest had to be still there.
My second control visit was scheduled after 14 days from the operation date. Dr.Osuch took the rest of the stiches and brought me into his office for final after pictures and made sure I am all happy with the result and that I have all the medications I need. Dr.Osuch had great attitude and approach to my needs and expectations.
Today 5 months after my surgeries I have no scars near my nose area or behind my ears.
My skin feels very smooth and I have no redness around those areas either.
I feel like a new person and I love the natural effect of the surgeries. I feel beautiful and I believe that if you really want something in life you should always work towards your goal.
Dr.Osuch changed my life forever.
I am very lucky that I have found such an amazing surgeon that made my dreams comes true.
