WORTH IT
Was afraid to so afraid to do this for ao long then it got to the point that if I didn't I would have to go on disability and give up normal life for a life of pain and agony. I am 4 days post-op and so glad I did it. I had Dr Roman Skoracki from OSU plastic surgeons and he is amazing! A true artist in his field.Best decision I ever made!

It got to the point it was the lesser of 2 evils. It was the only way I was going to have any quality of life. I've had little pain thankfully and I'm going to end up with a large C or a small D.

There had been a finding on my mammogram that was then examined further with an ultrasound. So this lump was right where the doctor would be repositioning above the nipple so the lump that was removed and biopsied and atypical cells were found. Now I'm being referred to an oncologist for further dealings of the findings. I had a mammogram several months ago and the spot wasn't there so fortunately I went for the reduction and the spot was found observed and dealt with during the reconstruction surgery. Could've been a bad situation later down the road. Not sure what happens next but hopin for an appointment the same day as my 6 week post-op check-up in Columbus at OSU.

I am doing good, only feel where the dissolvable stitches are. It looks like some of the surgical glue is starting to come off. I've had very little hands care to do. No tape or incision care, just when I had the drains. I haven't had much pain either. Its hurts more on top of my breast and under the armpits more I guess from the swelling and probably lipo. Just startiing to go a little stircrazy from being under restrictions. I drove again today but I find it hard to twist around to see behind me and some pain from turning the steering wheel too far around. I'm looking forward to being completely healed and being able to jump back into normal life with the new me and being able to pick and choose bras instead of taking what I can find and altering them for comfort. Can't wait!!!! Best choice I ever made!!!
