Next move: Microneedling

Long time since my last post. It has been over a year since my last post and my last laser treatment was in june 2019. Went in to my treatment clinic last week for a consultation to see if I needed more treatments and they said that the inc is mostly gone, but there is some residual pigment within the scarring. It has faded alot in a year so that’s good. They suggested I tried a few rounds of dermapen over the scars in order to soften the scar tissue, release pigment and produce new collagen within the skin. I had my first treatment with dermapen today, and will have 2 more with 8 weeks intervals. Adding a picture from Mai, but will upload some more in a week or two when I have healed from the microneedling. They went over the tattoo on the deepest setting (2,5mm i think) so I am pretty raw. Still not as bad as the laser I must admit.

Have some of you tried dermapen after tattooremoval with laser?? Would love to hear your experiences.

Treatment #12 and fading

It has been a really long time since my last update here on RS. I had my baby august 2 2018 and have now started with laser treatments again. I had my 12th picoway session on june 21, after more than a 1,5 year break. It has continued to fade, but need a booster session now and then. Think I will have a session every 6 months or so until it is gone. I have posted some photos. The first is the day after the session in june: not much left to treat as you can see. The second is today; 2 months after the 12th treatment. Not much left, but I remain hopeful that it will go away eventually.
Wish you all the best with your own journey xoxo

Fading progress pics

Here is a picture of my updated fading the head og the dragon is barely visible anymore. Only the outline of the body and tale is visible and I am confident that it too will fade away even if I might need a treatment or two after this pregnancy. Very happy with the results.
