I hate the swelling
It's not horrible, just annoying because I want my results!! Yes, I have the immediate part I can see, and I love it, but I'm super inpatient. One more week after this and I will be at the 6 week mark. I went to the gym today for the first time. All I did was walk on the treadmill for an hour at a snails pace but I needed to. Did awesome the only thing that bothered me after were my lateral buttocks where I had some lipo down YOWZAS was that tender afterward! Then I went and got a pedi (day off today), did some more homework, and now I am going to take a bath. My incicion is closed and I am hoping a little soak will be good for whats left of my shingles rash. (insert eye roll) because THAT was more painful than my surgery!
Getting better!
Worked all day again today, stiff at times. My tummy is still so tight, but I think that's good, hoping it means a good tight result. Getting less and less dependent on the compression, I am wearing all the time, but it is starting to annoy me at times, which I think means I am just healing more and more. Shingles better too. I have one more dose of the antiviral to take in the morning, then it's gone. Although I still get shooting pains, it is better every day. I am taking curcumin 3 times per day, it's supposed to help neuropathic pain, I just cannot bring myself to take neurontin, pretty sure it would be hard on my just because I am so sensitive to meds, and I don't like the side effects of that medication. My son walked a good 30 mins with me tonight after supper too. Loving my results, cannot wait until I am able to start working out again, my pi-yo DVD is supposed to be here Friday :)
