Scheduled for surgery, finally!
3 full pregnancies, hours and hours of working out finally gave up because all the exercise and starving myself wasn't cutting it. Right now i can wear a size 8 but the bulge and the thigh rubbing is so depressing. Blessed my hubby supports me and this decision. Like lots of others this is allot of money for us. I have 7 weeks to go and will continue to update.

How are you doing ??
February 7, 2017
Hi! I'm doing ok. Today is day 5 post op. Pain is tolerable, I scaled down to half pills every four hours but I woke up feeling sore and the incision was hurting so I took one pill again. Still mostly resting but getting around on my own. Im eating healthy foods and often. When I'm hungry I eat.. I think this is helping with recovery. Sleeping is really uncomfortable! I have a futon bed.. it's so hard. I plan on writing here today to see if anyone has suggestions for pillows or something that might help.
I can already tell my mommy pouch is gone!!! Still haven't removed my binder but I plane to take a quick pic at post op feb 9th.
4 more weeks! How exciting. Once you get through first 3 days, you'll start to feel better. Keep us posted. Please let me know if you have questions/need support.

Im so happy for you ! Im super nervous that my expectations are too high, my pre~op is feb16. I dont have a recliner either i bought a wedge pillow hoping i can monkey something out of it

I'm a big fan of using what you have around the house before buying more stuff. Hopefully you have lots of other pillows to use with your wedge pillow. You can also look at baby consignment stores for nursing pillows or body pillows? Someone on RealSelf recommended a donut pillow to relieve all the weight and strain on your butt from sitting reclined and sleeping reclined. Some nursing pillows can work for that too and might be cheaper.. especially at those second hand stores.

After getting a 2nd opinion I have switched surgeons and I'm holding off on the medial thigh lift and opting for full TT with a little more lipo. FOUR MORE WEEKS !!
