So I finally decided to do this. I haven't been dreaming about it for years or wanting it since i was little. I've always loved my body for what it is in it's natural state. I liked the look pre babies, throughout pregnancies, and post babies. So just recently I started this journey and now it is flying by because we are active and involved in so much I really don't have time to dwell on it (maybe a good thing!) There are things that are different since babies that I've been fine with (it's part of the gig) but finding out that this procedure is done so often and was within the realm of what we could afford I decided "why not?" I never had a large chest and never minded but gaining some fullness for my hubby in the bedroom and for me in a swim suit couldn't hurt. I thought I would wait until 40's or 50's then decided I could have some fun with them now in my 30's.
The one thing I'm worried about is not spending enough time sizing. I've had my pre-op and we told the doctor I wanted a natural look that would look crazy on my frame. Originally he had chosen an anatomical shape because I don't have much tissue and am on the "smaller" side, but then said the ones we were going to go with were just recalled in Europe and the Brazilian Plant "mysteriously" burned down last week!!! So we will be going with Mentra textured hopefully to not show too much rippling. I am asymmetrical so I decided with the doctor to do 300cc and 260cc. Does anyone have the same stats as me that had the same size (around 300) that wished they would have gone bigger?? Or on the other side I am crazy worried about them looking ginormous and foreign on me....or get in the way of our active lifestyle. The Doctore assured me it would be a good size....but would like some girl input!

It might help if you posted some wish boob pictures and pre op pics (in a swimsuit top or bra,) so the community can give you their opinion on your sizing dilemma. Sometimes wish boob pictures can be helpful to the doctor too when making the final implant size decision. Feel free to join the November 2015 breast augmentation surgery forum for some additional pre and post op support!

I had Dr. Janssen for my breast augmentation on 10/09/2015. I am 5'4" 103lbs. I did get the Sientra 255cc the morning before the recall. I wanted natural and not the fake look. I literally was probably a 30A if I was lucky. I have a very small frame with not much tissue. I love they natural way the 255cc look. I am a little over one month and they are settling nicely and look like I was born with them. I highly recommend using the Experal it was great I had no pain on day 2 and 3 a tiny on day 4 when it wore off. Good Luck I see your surgery is tomorrow. He is a great doctor and I couldn't be happier with my results.

I don't know how I just saw this but thank you for your information. It was hard switch brands last minute. I'm now 7 days out and feeling a bit more like myself. How are you at one month? I have a big trip planned when I'm week 5. I'm hoping it will be easier at that point.

I am feeling great no pain at all. I will be 6 weeks this Friday and I can honestly say at about 2 weeks I felt fine the tightness went away. Dr cleared me last week to workout and I started back yesterday and I felt great. My trainer even said how natural my boobs looked and they are not even all settled yet.

post op

So I am one day post op today. Everything went smoothly and honestly can't believe I did it. It came up so fast I didn't have time to think about it! My husband is doing great taking care of not only me but the kids too. Im not sure what size Dr. Went with but I'm almost positive it was 300 cc round textured. I hope they are not too big! I hadn't peeked yet but I will tomorrow when I can shower. I just gave the compression band on super right to keep the implants down. I was going to try to not take the pain meds but it was way more painful then I thought! The hardest thing is to breath. Did anyone else have this problem? I will post pictures later.

Back pains, more movement

Well I'm now 2days post op. I've been sleeping in our rocker recliner each night sitting up and it has worked well. I thought by now I wouldn't need any drug but I am still taking them regularly. I thought after naturally birthing 3 children I would have a large pain tolerance but I was wrong! This is more painful than expected, but I know it's early and need to be patient. There is also pain in my upper back that I wasn't counting on. Most likely because I went under the muscle. Going for my shower soon and still have very limited use of my arms so I might need my husbands help. I'll post a picture once I get a chance to wash up!
Happy healing
