Currently reviewing surgeons and setting up...

Currently reviewing surgeons and setting up consultations. I'm hoping to set a surgery date for June 1st or 2nd. I'm very nervous but looking at different stories and reviews here has helped me know this is what I want to do. I just hate that it's so expensive, but it will get me a lifetime of happiness! So it's worth it!

Still trying to research surgeons to set up a consult

So I'm still trying to research surgeons and there are three that I am really interested in having a consult with. The only problem is most of them have limited office hours & I don't really want to be attending them alone. I'd rather my mom come with me so she can be informed as well, but like the available times are when she is working... so I haven't really set anything up yet. I have also been thinking about the date. I originally was thinking June 1st or 2nd, but now I'm thinking of moving it up to like May 19th, because I don't want to spend my entire summer trying to heal and with work (I am a server), I need to be able to lift a moderate amount by the weekend before the 4th of July. But if i did it June 1st or 2nd, my mom wouldn't have to take off of work but if I did it May 19th (which is a Friday) she'd just have to take off one day and then I think I would be fine to be alone by Monday. I finish school May 12th, so I have to wait until after that date and I was thinking Friday, because then I'd have the weekend and my parents would be off to help me. Idk so many things to think about. I really should set up some consults, but I haven't been able to discuss the times with my mom. She is supportive and understands why I want this procedure and believes it would greatly improve my self-esteem, because she knows how I feel about my basically flat chest. I just still get nervous talking to her about all of it. I honestly didn't think my parents would be so supportive when I started talking about it. At first my mom kind of thought the idea was crazy, but the more we talked about it, the more she understood & the more supportive she became. My dad was chill about it from the start, joking around saying to set up the surgery ASAP. But I think once I actually set up the surgery and everything, he'll get more nervous and worry about me having surgery. Hopefully I can discuss the times with my mom soon and her going to the consultations with me so that I can get the ball rolling and set them up.

Had my first consult!

So I had my first consultation last week, and I honestly think Dr. Parkins is amazing! She was so nice and made me feel comfortable. A part of me wants to go to another consultation just to compare, but I know she's the best around here and I did really like her. Plus her nurse and rest of her staff are super nice as well! At the consultation, I decided I liked silicone gel 400cc or 425cc HP. I'm a little nervous now that they might be slightly too big... so I think I am going to make rice sizers so I can double check or else I can go in again and check before my procedure. I currently wear a 32 B bra at Victorias Secret but I could probably fit an 32 A bra.. I'm pretty flat. I am hoping to be a full C cup or small D, probably like a 32 D bra at VS. I still have a lot to think about and I am looking at possible dates for my procedure, most likely May 18th or 19th! I just have to be certain I'm all in, because I have to put like $500 down for the date. Hopefully I can figure it all out soon!

Overall rating

Dr. Parkins and all of her staff at Quintessa are absolutely amazing! Everyone is so kind and patient and were always willing to answer any questions or concerns I had. I loved the environment there as soon as I walked in the door! I had a breast augmentation 3 weeks ago, and I am already so in love with my results. I was pretty much flat pre op, like a 32B.. maybe even an A, and I got silicone 425cc HP. Dr. Parkins did such an amazing job! I am so happy with my decision to have her perform my surgery and the 1.5 hour drive was so worth it! I definitely recommend her!
