Still dealing with the issues caused by this surgeon's Lefort 1 3-piece
Here are some additional pictures from the surgery outcome and picture of me before any surgery. I am still dealing with pain, discomfort & functional issues that initiated from this surgery and am providing more pictures post-op & before any surgeries

Slanted posteriors and slanted anterior
Not only is my anterior slanted as a result of this surgeon's lefort 1 3-piece, so are my posteriors in different directions. The 2nd surgeon only did a lefort 1 1-piece which rotated the misaligned lefort 1 3-piece so the slanted posteriors were a result of Matouk's surgery. I have had so many issues with my jaw since this surgeon's lefort 1 3-piece. With the open-bite, I mainly had eating, talking & sinusitis issues and I thought this was going to help. What I have now seems so much worse with the pain and discomfort on the sides of jaw & joints area (at times worse than others), tension from the pressure points of contact & midface created by the slant, eating & talking issues as a result of this major upper jaw cant.

More pictures from after my surgery with this surgeon.
I have alot of pictures from after my surgery with his surgeon and here are a few most notable I wanted to share. I do not feel this surgeon was transparent with me as you can see in the xray his office gave me.

1. Pain on my sides of my face near jaw joint area...at times unbearable due to the major slant.
2. Discomfort in jaw movement.
3. Sliding resting bite.
4. Problems Chewing/Eating...causing me sometimes to puree my food.
5. Problems Talking...especially after hours of constant movement, jaw feels very sore and words do not always come out fluidly due to the sliding jaw movement. (Really sore after 12hr shift of talking at work.)
6. Laying down at night, sometimes I awake with the left side that was attached higher since the 1st surgery that completely blocks the left passageway.
7. Soreness in the jaw, joints & face when holding my jaw open for any length of time for (cleanings, orthodontic visits, dental visits)
8. I still feel a bit of mid-face pressure on the left side where the jaw was connected higher.
9. Mid-face sensitivity to temperature...have issues in cold environment or sitting under an air conditioner.
My life now is one of hardship and daily struggles that I did not have w/the initial open-bite which I did not expect or was forewarned about so I do want to make sure that anyone who considers getting this done truly vet their surgeon and walk out the door if they find this an acceptable outcome.
