6 Months Post-op and my Surgeon Messed Up my Face

I'm 6 months post-op from a Le Fort 1 and BSSO. The surgery was not covered by my insurance so I had to pay out of pocket. I am not happy with how I look and my bite asymmetry is much worse.
My surgeon Dr Reed Day told my wife in the post-op call that everything went "picture perfect". However, his assistant, who discharged me the morning after, told me they had trouble lining up the jaw and they were running out of time.
I have seen my surgeon and my orthodontist but my concerns were completely blown out of proportion. My dentist told me I need another surgery to fix this.
Not sure what advice can be offered but thanks for reading through this.

I, to, paid out-of-pocket for my 1st surgery which resulted in an upper jaw slant among other issues. I worked up the nerve to seek getting slanted jaw outcome assessed and went to 4 other surgeons. I did not realize how other surgeons are reluctant to correct another surgeon's error. Three of them told me my slant was acceptable which I learned later at-least one of the surgeon's had an affiliation with the one that worked on me. I was fortunate to go to 6 surgeons prior to getting any work done way back in 2013 and had scans and molds of my jaw with open bite to show the slant was due to 2017 surgery. My advice would be to get several assessments from other surgeons...they all have varying degrees of experience in certain aspects of orthognathic surgery cases. I have 2 reviews from both surgeons on here.
