Well never had a jaw & inherited 2 chins yeaaaaaa; so been dealing with it for 29 yrs every time i have it fixed; i grow another Turkey neck; so i hope at 53 this will be last time i hav to fix this! So far i had liposuction on neck 3 times & 2 implants that were too small for a chin!

Hi what did you have done? Did you have your jaw broken and pulled forward or just implants?
I feel your pain I was the same a bimaxillary osteotomy and chin implant, but it relapsed (nowhere near as bad as before but enough so that I have no confidence!) I hope you get the result your after this time x

What kind of bimax movements did you have ? I believe this user just had two off the shelf implants.

Yes i had off the shelf & should hav done custom ones like im going to do next i tried to save money but custom impl are the better choice for all u future patients

Hav u seen augmentation7 surgery? He is on here but doesn't respond he had surgery from DR EPPLEY & LOOKS GREAT HE FINALLY HAS A JAW & CHIN

Yes gerard. I have seen his results from 1.5 months post op , which were not final but huge improvement.

Finally sur date july 22 2019 to repair birth defec of my jaw was a LONG road to get here& finally getting it done just finalizeing the implant DESIGN ...........................................

Im stuck i hate design now its week away from SURG IM ASK DR EPPLY MUST POSTPONE & CHANGE HES NOT HAPP AT ALL IM CRUSHED BUT IM NOT DOING IT I PRAY ING FOR REVISIONS IM NOT SURE ITS POSSIBLE

Gerard, I really think you are worrying over nothing. You should achieve a great result with these implant designs

Regarding “square “ , that is a combination of implant and your soft tissue. You will not see “square “ in implant design per se. The mere fact your gonion will drop around 12 mms will make your jaw a lot more square. I think the design looks awesome and unless you can articulate specific concerns , it would be stupid to not go through. If all heals well t will transform your look to very handsome.
I hope this surgery gives you the results you want! When is surgery?
