Double Jaw Surgery W/ Genioplasty

Double Jaw Surgery W/ Genioplasty

WORTH IT$15,000
I owe Dr. Bobek a review. I had surgery with him in September of 2017 and an additional Genioplasty in September 2018. Both surgeries turned out well and im happy with the outcome. Dr. Bobek is very skilled and meticulous in his work. He was available to answer all of my questions prior to surgery and after. I dont feel comfortable posting pictures because I like my anonymity but if you have any questions i'd happily answer them. I will say the first week of healing was the hardest and by week 3 you're ok to start eating solid foods but expect to be on a liquid diet the first week or two. Hope this helps someone.

Thank you for sharing your experience! Would you be comfortable including before and after photos?

Hi! I too had had surgery with Dr. Bobek, and am considering a follow up for genioplasty. What pushed you to that decision, how much did it cost, and how much advancement of the chin did he perform? Thanks!
How were your results ?
I can't remember how much advancement in the chin area? I believe it was 5-6mm. He ended up using cadaver bone to extend it beyond what was possible. I don't recall the price. That would be a question for the front office.
Ah thanks! How did you broach him about it? He made an explicit decision during my surgery to not do the genioplasty bc he thought my chin was symmetrical. However, I do want about 7mm more projection and 5mm more vertical length. Did you just tell him you wanted better aesthetics?
Well for me it was a breathing issue so extending it was necessary to help with that.
