Hey all, I just came across this site and like most people here, I want a tattoo gone. I never post on forums but this community seems so positive and welcoming, so I would really appreciate any feedback/knowledge anyone might have had a similar situation.... I have 7 tattoos total and this is the first time I have ever thought of getting a tattoo removed.

I have had it for a little over a year and from the moment I got it, I felt uncomfortable in my own skin. The tattoo was never meant to be so dark and the stencil that was put on looked totally different. I was hoping I would get used to it or it would lighten up but it's actually gotten darker over the last year.

I am extremely unhappy with it to the point where I don't want to wear tank tops or short sleeved shirts.

I have 2 consultations next week. One place uses the PiQo4 laser (estimated $350 per sesh) and the other uses the PicoSure laser.
I have seen a lot of reviews about the PicoSure but I haven't found any personal experiences with the PiQo4 laser from start to finish.

If anyone has any recommendations please share your experience! I would greatly appreciate it!

I want this thing goneee but I don't want to rush into anything and possibly regret it later.

FYI
I have tan skin (if you couldn't already tell by the photo) so my main worry for complete removal is hypo-pigmentation.

In my opinion any ps or ns 1064 nm laser is gonna outperform 755 nm laser (PicoSure).

Hi fellow 25 year old female tattoo regret-er! I just got mine a few days ago and am already regretting it and researching removal. The place I have been speaking with has 2 laser options but are very firm in their belief that picosure is the best option. Even though it is 755 they have told me that the laser is better able to differentiate between the ink and your body causing less chance of scaring or hyper pigmentation. They say it works best on black inks. Just what I've been hearing. It's been a while since your post, what did you learn? Have you began?

Hey! Unfortunately I live in Fl and I had to cancel my appointments due to the hurricane we just had. I am hoping to reschedule soon because everytime I look at it I am so disappointed. Im sorry you're going through a similar situation! I appreciate the information! Did you get a color tattoo or all black/grey ink?

First Picosure Laser Session

jaymurphy
Hi all,
Its been a while but I finally got my first session done this Saturday. I’ve attached a progress photo almost exactly 48hrs after the laser session. Obviously the difference won’t be too drastic the first couple weeks but you can see certain spots have lightened up. I will post another progress photo in a few weeks... it’s still very sensitive and in recovery mode.

I wish you good luck . It is a long process but if you feel better afterwards it is worth it!
