Glad you are seeing progress, it can be so frustrating when it takes a long time to see any results.  Sounds like you are really unhappy with the practice where you had the slim lipo done- is this because of the watery lump or were there other issues?

Hello Jill81, thanks for your comments. Yes, I am very very frustrated and dissapointed about the whole thing. First cause my husband was against me getting this done and then to have this sort of outcome? My husband does not even know what Im going through so its like the only place and people I can share my feelings with its here. The Dr's office staff was nice but the Dr. to me seemed like he has not performed a lot of these lipos, specially when he said hed never seen anything like this.. so, granted he have me an ultrasound and two endermologies at no charge but still didnt fixed the issues. So all im doing now is patiently waiting for it to get better, massaging with an electric hand massager, working out and just pray for it to go away. I previously had a mini TT along with small lipo done in Costa Rica with a family Dr. and never ever had any issues so that Is why Im so scared about how all this will end. But will just keep praying. Thanks again!

I'm sorry you are going through that with your husband- I think a lot of us totally get that (and how hard it is not to be able to talk to them about how you are feeling because it is a sensitive subject).  You can definitely vent to us!
Some people take longer to heal than others, so don't give up yet.  It can take six months.

SlimSlip - I see the hard lumps that you were worried about and I can totally understand. I really don't have any lumps, but it still swells across the mid-section and above belly button. I saw the PS today and he is quite happy with my progress - the weight loss from the surgery (1 liter) and then the additional pounds lost. I discussed with him the fact that I had 1 velashape appointment left and he said to have that in 4 weeks and see him on the 5 week (that will be week 16 - 4 months) and that we would go from there. He said we might want to make some slight revisions, but I can tell you now - no more plastic surgery. I am in size 8/10 depending on maker and everyone is calling me slim - I am in clothes that I have not worn in years - so happy. I know that in 4 weeks I'll be ecstatic with my end results. Will post 12 week pictures Wednesday. Hang in there - it looks like you still have quite a bit of swelling going on!!!

As a husband, I know you ladies are doing this for us too (they also should know). They (ur Hubbies) should be more compassion and understanding. I know my wife is thinking about it every day. I try to be supportive and understanding, because it is really about the both of us. I too will benefit from her good looks, mentally and physically. Hang in there girl.

Aweee Thanks Cafejose... it is so great that you can relate.. and most of all be and stay understanding. Remember, us girls, we have to embrace ourselves with courage to face the procedure and recovery and the least we need is a nagging husband. Instead, we want to be able to feel your (hubbies) support. I remember the morning my hubby was driving me to the procedure he kept quite, but I could tell what was going on in his mind.. and I would say that this procedure didnt come out as I expected cause of two things: age and fear going into the procedure.. So, Im so glad you shared your thoughts. Thanks much!! and LOL about WTF? :-)

Im going to see a new Dr. in my area for an opinion...only doing cause as you may see in pics below I still have a small lump on my belly which looks like a hernia, but im pretty sure is only fat that was not suctioned at time of procedure... so, well see what this Dr. has to say...needless to say I did do thorough research..but still im gonna think it twice now... Wish me luck!!

I, too, have an area around my belly button which developed into scar tissue. I have been doing power walking with a 5 pound core ball, "Slim in Six" ab work out, the contour belt and massaging the hell out of this area - the scar tissue has diminished 80 percent, but it is a work in progress. I had a revision done 3 weeks ago - I paid almost $6000 - $4800 for the initial procedure, $425 for velashape which was a waste of money (pushed by my PS) and another $650 for revision plus CG garment and all the drugs - I now have fat over the right side of my pubic area and he will correct it for free - I am taking my husband in and making him tell him all that I have done. Down 13 pounds - 148 initially (5'6' and big boned) and working my butt off on just the abdomen area - no other areas done - menopause stomach. I wish you the best of luck - the belly button is a hard area to correct, but I will do it. I still swell like when I don't wear spanx after 8 months counting revision - when will this stop. I eat correctly and avoid salt - makes me sick - it should have been done right the first time!!!
