I have been wanting to get rid of my tattoo for a looooong time. I decided it was time and I started researching places near me; I found one close that uses the PicoSure laser. I came across this website and started reviewing the reviews on here for the PicoSure laser. I saw some pretty good results and became hopeful. So, I went today for the consultation and decided to get the first treatment done.
My tattoo is about 3x1 inches-- black ink-- Not professionally done-- 17 years old
*They estimate 4-5 treatments are needed for removal.
A numbing ointment was put on my tattoo for about 20 minutes and then an ice roller was put on my skin to help with numbing as well. I do not think the "pain" was bad at all. I would rate it a 3/4 out of a 10 scale. I personally thought that it was going to be EXTREMELY painful, so maybe I just expected a lot more. You feel a mild zapping sensation. After, an ointment and bandage was applied. I felt mild discomfort for a couple hours after, but nothing major (didn't take pain reliever). Around the tattoo is red and the tattoo looks swollen.
-- I scheduled my next session for 8 weeks out. I was told I could go back after 6 weeks, but I may see more fading if I wait for 8 weeks. I have had this tattoo for a long time, so I decided to wait 2 more weeks and hopefully have to get less treatments.

24 hours since 1st treatment
Last night my tattoo was still sore (and felt a little itchy), but I woke up this morning without any "discomfort". I took my bandage off and noticed that there are some blisters forming. I will post the next picture after 1 week.

One Week update
The blistering has dried up. I am starting to see ink fading away.. especially in the A and M. I am very happy with my results so far and to know that I will see more improvements in the next 7 weeks makes me excited. --- On the 6th day after treatment, I have noticed my tatoo looks real dry and it has started to itch. I am going to put some Vaseline on it.
