I've had thin brows for awhile and was really tired of spending money on different brow product. I learned about microblading from a close friend and decided to research it. It took a few month before finding a licensed professional to do my brows. She got great reviews and her photo gallery had some amazing transformations so I drove 2 hours to get her services. She assured me that they will look different after the healing process but I feel like they are a focal point to my face and that I look really fake. I have had nothing but anxiety since I left and gone into a depression that quick. They look way to hard for my face and I am already looking for ways to have them removed. I really need some type of motivation and support during this healing process. Even though I think they are a little far apart I will not do a touch up or this process again. The pictures look better than my actual brows in person. You really have to be 100% certain that you want a permanent or long term change. I will keep you posted on my status and my emotions because they are bottomed out right now. She used shorter strokes instead of the longer one.

Day 3 Post Microblading
memphisroyMay 9, 2017
It's day 3 and I am starting to see some red undertones in the pigment of my skin. I really hope that is not an indication of how they will look after healing. I really wish that I didn't not get this done but praying they will fade a lot look pretty normal. You really have to be mentally prepared to have this done.

I think they look really good!!! I had mine done and felt the same way. They always look really dark for the first 5 days or so but will lighten up. I love mine now and this is coming from someone that didn't have any. Hang in there. It will get better.

I felt the same as you when I got mine done. I hope this makes you feel better as I have figured out a few things since then. They don't prepare you for the changes in the healing process. I was so upset when I got mine done at first, but it all turns out okay and yours will too. You checked out the person before hand you just have to be patient. For one, there is swelling in some places more than others and this can cause a uneven appearance. Two, they are 60% darker before they peel. Your skin will heal over milky and they will look too light or like they went away, the milkyness goes away after 3-4 weeks and you can see the hairstrokes again. I was so pissed off at the lady who did mine and after 4 weeks I figured out she did a great job, just didn't educate me on what to expect. I got my second treatment yesterday, she evened them out and added more hairstrokes- give yourself time to heal and you will see! For sure go back for the second appointment, they can use a different color, add or remove strokes so don't worry!

@katherine w ; how do they remove strokes? That is exactly what I need is a few strokes removed and my eye brow person who is experienced has not offered this option!

Day 3 was better. I see more scabs and more redness. Day 4 I see the milky look more. They are actually sore today for some reason.

Make sure to use neosporin and whatever you do DON'T remove the scabs, they are supposed to fall off naturally. Neosporin or any substitute minor cut ointment, spf during the day, and mild soap using your fingers only to cleanse the treated area. It looks like the redness is from peeling off the scabs which also takes off some of the pigment ... they're looking softer in the middle and they're coming together quite nicely!

I heard that peroxide and saline solution will lighten them... check this site or talk to a plastic surgeon or the person that performed the procedure. Give yourself a break... they look good.
