I've Always had thing lips, so I started doing lip injections, (loved them!) but still felt it wasnt Enough. Wih the upkeep and cost. So I decided to do something a little more permanent and get the permalip 5mm implant. Procedure went well, was very calm and relaxed , some parts was very painful and wanted to cry. It's only been 24 hours sense the procedure and my lips are very swollen. Any tips? I've been taking my medicine and icing. Excited for results.

How much swelling went down and is it really permanent? Is it like goretex?

yeah its permanent! it's a implant. im in love with it! my lips feel fuller. the full healing time was about a week and a half. i only had to take a full week off of work. the following week there was still a little bruising but no one really said anything.

liam407 I went to her page..i don't even see that she does this procedure. There are no before and afters either. How is it you came to go to her for this with no before and afters to see?

I had seen Dr Scott Rotatori for other procedures and even though he doesnt have anything on his website I called over the phone to make sure they do it and I went in for a consolation

Sleep elevated.. I put several pillows under my mattress at the head of the bed(much more comfortable then piling the pillows under your head) my lips swelled crazy for like a damn week!

8 days later!
Took a full week off work (glad I did) and finally on day 8, was able to return to work ! Ice! Ice! Ice! Vaseline and more ice! im in love! just from reading the reviews I am expecting for more swelling to go down (which I am sad about because I really love the way they look now!) But my doctor and his staff have been amazing!!! Seriously an amazing staff. Definitely love the procedure and if anything I can always do injections in the future. No REGRETS! If this is something you want to do, DO it!
