1 week post FFT.
Well, I had my follow up appt. with the plastic surgeon Day 7 and he said everything looks great. I have concerns about my hips looking a little uneven but he said it will all level out when the swelling goes down. He also said that the swelling in my face cheeks will continue to go down. That worries me a little because I wanted fuller cheeks! I hope it doesn't go down much more.

Thank you so much! Loving all the support!
Oh wow I really love the last picture...beautiful face
Thank You!
Your face is stunning. I'm booked in for this procedure next month with dr Claudine Roura in the Phillipines. Hope it looks as good as yours does!
Awwhh... Thank you! I bet you will love it. Just remember, with the swelling it might look a little silly for the first few days. For myself day 8 was the OH YES day. Good luck!!

I've noticed lately that my face has lost lots of volume and I look terrible in photos and all and need help. I spent months researching what could be done about it. It came down to fillers, PRP microneedling and fat transfer. I decided on fat transfer after reading a positive fat transfer experience on this site of a doctor that is in driving distance. The after pictures looked really good. I met with the doctor last week and felt good about
everything so I had the procedure done 2 days ago. I was thinking of just volume to the cheeks but he suggested that fat all over would give my face a more youthful look so we went with the full transfer. There is so much swelling that it's hard to tell anything about it yet. I should know around the 3 or 4 week mark if it is worth it.

You look wonderful in before and after pics:). Did it hurt or does your face hurt much? Thanks!
Thank you! I was awake and it did hurt pretty bad, but the pain was tolerable. I'm just really sore and swollen today but not needing anything for pain.
I was told it wouldn't hurt under local. I knew it was too good to be true. Lol. Have you had to take any pain meds? Is it hard to sleep? I'm sorry for asking so many questions. I'm thinking of having it done but am worried about pain as I already suffer from myofascial pain sometimes. Can I also ask how you decided upon the right doctor? Thanks again. :)
Maybe every experience is different but for me it did hurt, not to the point I felt like I was going to pass out but just very uncomfortable. The Lipo not so much but the face injections were the worst part. I took 1 Percocet Monday and Tuesday night and was going to take just ibuprofen last night but my husband had taken the last ones so I had to take a percocet. :) I will take ibuprofen tonight and that's it. I have to sleep on my back because I'm not supposed to put any pressure on my face. I sleep propped up on 3 pillows to help with swelling. Come to think of it I'm sleeping pretty good.... might be the Percocet!! I hope I can still sleep tonight without it. I'm very sorry to hear about your myofascial pain. I hope it gets better for You! I found this doctor on a real self review and he was only 3 hours away.
And you're not bothering me at all with the questions. I hope I can help others make the right decision!
You are awesome! Thanks for all the answers. It's really helpful! :)
You are very welcome!
Well, you were beautiful in your before pics! I really want to follow you to see final results. I am in terrible need for fat transfer. But, I also need it badly both under and above my eyelids. Not sure whether to go to a facial plastic surgeon or oculoplastic surgeon. Wish I could read more 'positive' results from fat transfer recipients since reading some of the horrible negative results keeps me paralyzed in making any decisions. Question: Where is your donor site and how does that area look?
Hi! Thank You! I posted after shots of the donor site. Sorry about the terrible glare from the camera. I look better in jeans than before... No more muffin top... just a little uneven in a low bikini.
I agree that all this stuff we do to improve ourselves is scary because of what can go wrong! The best procedures I have had done were done by surgeons who were recommended to me by friends who had personally used them. If you can find someone in your area that has had this done and find out which surgeon they used. That's your safest bet.

Anxiously waiting for all your future updates...thank you so much for sharing your experience!!
Your are so welcome!
