After many years of wanting, tons of research, 70lb weight loss and 2 consultations later.... I'm finally getting my BA!!!! Surgery is scheduled for 7/18 and I'm so excited, not nervous yet, I'm sure I will be the closer it gets! The first doc I went to was very nice, but super conservative. He wanted to give me a full anchor lift (which I'm totally ok with) but only wanted to go 475-500cc maximum. I've been big breasted my entire life. Hit puberty early and was a full but low saggy D-DD my entire life until recent weight loss and now I'm a sad deflated C. The second doc explained and showed me that due to my anatomy and that I was a very low grade ptosis that in his opinion I didn't need and wouldn't benefit as far as nipple placement goes from a full anchor lift. He said he was confident in doing a periareolar lift plus 600-700cc implants would give me the size and enough fullness to give me the look I'm going for. So after much consideration and talking to my fiancé, we decided to go with the second doc. I feel like I just wouldn't be completely satisfied with smaller higher implants, but rather the larger implants and more natural look. I will attach before pics- the good the bad and the ugly. Haha! So grateful to have this site and you ladies and the many reviews and photos, it all helps so much!

I am so excited for you!! I am similar in breast anatomy to you and also 33 years old. I am also scheduled for Periareolar/donut lift and implants in August. Doc says the lift is mostly to move my nipple up a bit while the implants will add some volume. Best luck to both of us then!

That's so awesome that you're getting similar! Surgery twins! Haha What size implants are you planning? I really want to be big, but I know that isn't for everyone lol

We are surgery twins! Boobie buddies. lol I also want to go big, I was thinking in the 525-600 cc range which would be quite large for my frame. My doc said he doesn't think I'll make past "the high 400's range" Apparently going too big on too petite a frame with Benelli/Donut Lifts can cause wound healing issues. He would rather go conservative. I am doing saline so apparently that means I can add a bit more volume down the road after the lift incisions heal. We'll see! I WISH he was comfortable going HUGE, I'd do it in a heartbeat! lol

Congrats on the weight loss! I'm excited to see your results! I love following the journeys with "bigger" implants

Hi there, not to be discouraging but have you considered getting another professional opinion regarding periareoal lift combined with the size implants you want? One thing to take into consideration is BL/BA surgery is a lot more complicated than a regular breast augmentation; the opposing forces of the implants combined with the lift will put a great amount of stress on the incisions... and can cause the areolas to stretch quite a bit with a periareola lift. With a full anchor lift the stress is distributed more evenly throughout the breast as opposed to just around the areolas. At the very least you may want to seek opinions on this matter in the doctors Q and A section here. Hope you don’t mind my two cents on the subject. Good luck and wishing you the best! :-)

LUCKY.... 5' 8" tall explains why your doctor is comfortable going 600-700cc and mine isn't despite having very similar breast size, shape, and appearance. I'm 5' 4".

Sorry for the delay lol I am tall, and have a large chest space, interested to see how they come out since that amount of CC's sounds huuuge. But I'm ok with that, as I am good with huge pretty boobs! ;)

Had to change surgery date and made rice sizers!

Double checked my period tracker and my surgery date was going to be the same day as the start of my period, so called and spoke to the patient coordinator and she said it really wouldn't be a big deal, but for my comfort and peace of mind we moved surgery back one week to 7/25. I think that is a much better idea than having to worry with it while I'm trying to recover.
Made some 600cc rice sizers today. I think they actually give a pretty good general idea for trying out sizes! I def think I'd be comfortable with the full 700cc after seeing and wearing these around a while. Lol
Also have been reading so many reviews of the different types of lifts with the before and after photos, and I'm feeling a lot more confident that the periareolar lift will be a good choice for me.

Oh gosh I am so excited to have a boobie twin!! I'm getting kinda nervous, I've read a few not so great reviews about the Benelli lift- also probably equally as many good review too though. I hope you have been, and are documenting your progress so I can see how you're doing too!!

How did you make your rice sizers? I’ve only seen them in stockings before. But the way you did it looks like you would have more control over the shape!
