I used to look up to Kate Hudson for being part of the Itty Bitty [RS bleep] Committee and really owning it, but I've come to realize I'm not Kate Hudson and I just really want a nice RACK!

Stats: 23 years old, 5'6", 135 lbs, 34A.
Goal: 34C

I went in this morning for my first consult and the staff was super friendly and answered all of my questions. I'm looking to go silicone, submuscular, with the incision under the breast.

Scheduling my procedure soon!

Don't look up to her too much! She had hers done too! Congrats on your first consult!

We all get tired of itty bitty [RS bleep]...even Kate Hudson did.

Ah! I didn't realize Kate Hudson had a small breast augmentation! That completely ruined my image lol. She's still rockin' the itty bitties though :-)

Some people can pull it off. Wish I could. Haha.

I'm kind of glad I can't pull it off because now I can have some really incredible big boobies lol.

How many cc's are you thinking of?
User Avatar
April 11, 2013
I'm thinking full C (maybe 375cc's), but I haven't tried on any sizers yet or anything to have a good idea.
April 11, 2013
I am going with 375 as well
User Avatar
April 11, 2013
Out of all of the before/after pictures I've seen with women that are about my size, 375 seems like the best fit, although I'm really excited to try on those sizers! And I just glanced at your stats. We seem to be similar in body type. Good luck with your BA on the 23rd!

I feel the same way, in that I see famous and even everyday people that appear to be fine with having no chest. I so wish I could be that person who is totally cool with that, but like you, I'm not! Good luck with your journey!

Can't wait to hear about updates from you! Pretty much ALL of Hollywood has had work done. You'd be Surprised. There are incredible surgeons out there who specialize in discreet plastic surgery. A lot of stuff you read about how these big celebs eat so clean, workout, blah, blah, blah blah, yes, they do its their job. But u never hear them talk about the little procedure here and there...smoke and mirrors. I'm all about embracing and owning your procedure whatever it may be:-)

I'm sure you're right about Hollywood, especially with the pressure of them to look perfect all the time. I can't wait to own mine!

Today I called and scheduled my BA for June 12, 2013, exactly two months to the day! I am so incredibly thrilled! Pre-op will be May 29, 2013. I went shopping today and couldn't stop thinking about how hot I was going to look when the top portion of my body fits perfectly into a sexy bikini.

Thank you for starting your journey on RealSelf. I just love your comment about Kate Hudson. You truly made me laugh out loud! Good for you! Do you have another consult scheduled try on sizers? Keep us posted!

Beth, when I had my consult they said I'd be able to try on sizers at my pre-op visit, which today I scheduled for May 29th. Looking forward to it!! :-)

Hi InkedBeauty! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your consult with Dr. Hartog. I really love everyone there. I am so amazed how they remember who you are and make you feel like family. My procedure went so smoothly and I had no pain or nausea after I woke up. It seemed like I was only under for 5 minutes. I got the Natrelle silicon 400cc under the muscle with incision under the breast. The Natrelle comes with free botox or Latisse for you and a friend. I will be getting the botox done soon. I'm sure I don't really need it, but what the hay, it's free! Lol! I haven't been updating my pics as often as I should, but I have been busy this last couple of weeks. I wasn't able to post the dates under my pics because my computer has been acting up so that something I will have to go back and update. The pics aren't too old though they are from last week. I was out of the house everyday this week because I took my kids to all the Disney parks and I just didn't have the time. I will post some new ones soon. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to ask. I am thrilled to know that someone else on here is using the same PS. I can't wait to see how your girls turn out! Good luck and God Bless!

I'm so glad to hear your surgery went so smoothly, and I'm hoping mine goes equally as well. I actually do have a question now that you mention it. How soon were you back in action after the surgery? I have class Monday/Wednesdays so I'm hoping I won't have to miss too many classes, if any. Your new boobies look absolutely beautiful, by the way. I'm anxious to see the end result once they finish dropping and how long it'll take them to drop. I don't know how long it typically takes.

That's a very good question! I was moving around a little bit the next day because I was encouraged to do so my Dr. Hartog. I did have some discomfort and soreness, but nothing that I couldn't handle. I had two kids so it was easier than that. Lol! I only had to take pain meds at bed time. I know everyone heals differently and has a different outcome, but I know that Dr. Hartog is and artist and you will be in great hands. I do highly recommend that you take it easy the first week due to healing. I know he will tell you not to drive yourself anywhere or do any lifting or physical activity during the first week. I didn't leave the house til the Friday after my surgery, but I also had my husband and two girls at home to help me do things. I did have to have help getting out of bed, going to the bathroom, and help in the shower the next day, but after that I could do all that on my own. Just ask the doc what your limits are and follow his instructions to the T and your will do great! I hope I was able to answer your question, but if there is anything else you need please let me know! Good luck!

Thank you so much for the details! This is really going to help me make arrangements for after the surgery because I don't have a boyfriend or anyone I'm living with that can really help. A friend volunteered to help -- thank goodness! I love her! At my consult I got the impression that I just needed someone with me for the first 24 hours and I'd be okay after that. I was even considering driving myself home the day after surgery. I underestimated it a little! ;-) I'm so glad I asked you!

Hi InkedBeauty! You will know after the first 24 hours how your recovery will take. Some people are up and moving around the next day. Even though I could move around the next day I was still getting use to having the new additions. LOl! I did feel a lot of pressure like something sitting on my chest so it made me out of breath a little and easily tired. My husband was off from work the next few days and when he returned to work I still had my daughters home with me because I home school them. I'm glad to hear you do have a really good friend to help you out. Only you will know how much you are able to do. Just take as much time as you can so that there aren't any complications. You'll be better in no time!

Sorry that I missed your post about the bio oil. It's like a pinkish color oil in a clear bottle. You can get it at walmart or any drug store. It's used for scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone, aging skin, and dehydrated skin. I have had mine for a really long time because it's think like baby oil and you don't need that much at one time. Dr Hartog did not suggest it but I have read other women posting about using for after surgery. I didn't start using right away since I was using the arnica gel. I only started using about week 2. I did ask if it was ok to use it and he gave me the ok as long as I didn't rub any on my incisions. I will be buying a scar cream for those when I go for my 1 month check up. I use bio oil on the girls when I wake up in the morning and after I shower. It is very soothing since my girls get itchy sometimes. I guess because they are healing. It's not unbareable though. You can apply the oil up to 3 times a day. I know some women get stretch marks right after surgery and even though I didn't it will prevent them or even fade them if you do get them. I hope this helps some and if you have any other questions just let me know!

Thanks for the info. I had seen other users using Dermatix, which is probably very similar. I'll have to look into those products.

So I just called to prepay for my new set of twins and changed my BA date to June 13th when my girlfriend will be available to watch over me after my surgery. I don't have a boyfriend or live with anyone that would be able to take care of me, so my very supportive, wonderful friend has offered to help me out. Getting more excited with every day that passes!

Good luck to you too! Have you decided on a size yet? That's what I'm having the most trouble with, but I know I'll have a much better idea on pre-op.
April 19, 2013
I'm thinking 400cc silicone under the muscle... Can't decide between high profile and moderate profile and moderate plus... Just so confusing! Lol. I see some women with moderate profile that look like they have melons glued to their chest, and women with high profile that have slightly flatter less perky boobs... Too many choices! Haha
User Avatar
April 19, 2013
I originally was thinking I'd go with 375s, but 400s have been looking better and better to me after the countless before-after pictures. I've been having a hard time telling the difference between profiles so hopefully the doc will give me some advice. And then I read you can get implants that are textured and shaped or smooth and round... like you said, too many choices!
April 21, 2013
I just finished reading responses to someone's question on implant specifics. It seemed to me that most doctors said to focus more on the look you want than the details of the implants. If you can show your doctor what you want to look like then they can guide you to the best implants to achieve that. So I now have a "goal picture.". Hopefully my PS will give me the best suggestion to reach it. I did pick a photo from a woman that had similar "before breasts" to mine, so hopefully that will help. :)
