Second Session
$299
Hi RealSelfers! So I didn't update after my last post. I got a little busy. But anyway, my second session will be on Thursday. I have seen less hair growth in certain spots so i take that as a sign that its working. I didn't get any burns or any other irregularities. I would compare the pain to a slight burn or zap. The doctor said it would feel like being popped with a rubberband. That's pretty accurate. Anyway, I didn't know what to expect after the first session i didn't think i would get any results so quickly but yay i'll take a few bare spots as a positive. I haven't shaved or used any other forms of hair removal since the first time. I didn't take any pictures beforethe1st session. Wish i had for comparison but oh well. I don't remember the type of laser it was only that it was Palomar. I will check for which series next time. The office was really nice everything was really clean.

Well i found a groupon for laser hair removal in Orlando FL. It includes 6 sessions. My first session will be on 2/19/15. It will be completed at a local "women's center" i will post more once i get the info on the person who will be completing the procedure. So far i've competed the paperwork they emailed me. We'll see how everything goes.

What kind of laser are they using. I'll wary of those Groupon deals.

I looked at the website and it says they have IPL laser. From what I've heard that isn't the best for darker skin. I'm African American too and had IPL years ago with no result and the hair actually got worse. Maybe they haven't updated their website, but I'm currently doing laser with Cooliglide (ie. long pulsed Nd:Yg laser) which is supposed to work for all skin types and I'm having way better results
